The extension to Centre for Development Studies and Activities, Pune, is an attempt to eliminate the typical notion of what a reading and working space should look like. Play of levels significantly helped in abolishing the need of furniture thus establishing a direct connect between the structure and the user.

A formal working / meeting space is wedged to the ground level with more informal activities happening on the levels above.
The basic design principles of gradient, connectivity and alternating repitition have been used as part of the design process.
