After enrolling in the BAC I soon became an advocate of the school as an ambassador/student representative, assisting with exhibit installations, the golf club, a mentor, tutor, and teacher’s assistant. I have always worked hard for what I am passionate about and as a result I have always maintained a GPA of 3.2 or greater. After three years and graduation finally near, I found myself compelled to apply for my first scholarship through the BAC. Recently I have been introduced to the use of lighting professionally. Furthermore I am continuously seeking to increase my knowledge of lighting as a young designer. It would be an honor to represent the school at the Light+Building convention in Frankfurt and document my investigations/findings for the Designer’s Lighting Forum next fall. Thank you for your time and consideration of my scholarship application.
