hey there! Hi! I'm Sierra. A 25-year-old, coastal-grown + disney-obsessed creative residing in Eugene, Oregon where you could find me in a local coffee shop, playing endless amounts of cribbage, or listening to showtunes + classical music.

I like to think that my photography journey began when I was a toddler. Like many first-born children, I grew up with my parents capturing every moment of my life. I spent hours watching home videos and helping my mom capture my younger sibling's life on videotape. At 15, I began taking photos for the high school yearbook staff and interning with a local photographer. What started as a fun hobby quickly progressed into a business by high school graduation. I loved that photography allowed me to better know my peers. I was on the sidelines with the football team during each win + loss, I attended every band concert, and I sat with peers even during grief. I'm a photographer by trade, but a storyteller by heart.

As a self-proclaimed life-long student, I received my bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Oregon in 2018. I am currently working on a master's in mental health counseling at Western Seminary. I believe that everyone has a story worth telling, a story worth hearing, a story worth capturing, a story worth sharing. I feel immensely grateful that I have the privilege to come alongside you during the most joyous, emotional, and special moments in life.
