SIFA PREMIERES FIRST WAVE

15–31 MAY

Singapore International Festival of Arts (SIFA) presents captivating and cutting-edge works across theatre, music, dance, film and visual arts from 15 – 31 May 2020. As the nation’s pinnacle art festival under the helm of Festival Director Gaurav Kripalani, the festival continues to be a platform for Singapore’s leading artists and international performance groups to trailblaze in a three-week tour de force of artistic innovation. Spearheading the first wave of productions are four festival commissions by leading Singaporean theatre companies – Toy Factory Productions Ltd, The Finger Players, Nine Years Theatre and The Necessary Stage. Alongside their interrogation of contemporary themes and compelling reinventions of classic works, watch out for acclaimed dance-theatre piece Revisor in SIFA’s opening weekend, the first full-length performance in Singapore by choreographer Crystal Pite’s company, Kidd Pivot.
