“We’re trying to establish if you’re not in the game, you’re either learning or teaching,” Shakir said. “The more we know as a unit, the more you know as a player and the more valuable you are. So that’s kind of really stood out how they have helped each other and how they’ve been good teammates.”

Shakir and Cordola are just a few members of the Castaic coaching staff that has immensely grown since last season.
