In the Middle Ages merchant ships laden with wine set sail from the Serenissima Republic of Venice for the markets of the Middle East, Asia and Europe. Today, as in the past, top quality wines from the Italian region of the Veneto reach connoisseurs on all five continents. Alto Profilo stands for the best of these great wines. Their delightful aromas and flavors convey the essence of the luxuriant land where they are produced with such passion. Prosecco, Pinot Grigio, Cabernet and Merlot are made in the heart of an area with gentle hills, ancient castles and noble country villas. The wines are matured and bottled in a winery with over one hundred years’ experience of guaranteeing the quality of its vines and grapes.


VALDOBBIADENE PROSECCO SUPERIORE D.O.C.G. EXTRA DRY MILLESIMATO

It represents the best expression of this wine. Refined sparkly wine with straw-yellow colour. Attractive into globets thanks to its fine perlage. Its scent is elegant with apple, peach and rose petals smell. It is a good savoury smooth wine.

Serving temperature: 8-9°C Pairing: as an aperitif, but also with full meals, accompanied with fish recipes


PROSECCO EXTRA DRY D.O.C. TREVISO

This elegant sparkly wine is expression of genuinity and smoothness. Its colour is gloss strawyellow with green reflex. The perlage is fine and persistent .The perfume is an explosion of fruit and flower fragrances where green apple is the main one followed by sperawood and jasmin smell.

Serving temperature: 6-8°C Pairing: aperitifs, fish based first courses


PROSECCO BRUT D.O.C. TREVISO

Sparkly wine obtained from grapes coming from the one hilly area of the DOC Treviso. Slim, attractive and cheerful. It is an easy drinkable wine with straw-yellow colour and funny perlage. It scent reminds the peach, the apple and the lemon fruits. It is lightly acid, dry, but at the same time smooth to the palate.

Serving temperature: 6-8°C Pairing: excellent as an aperitif, for starters and first courses alike


PINOT GRIGIO

D.O.C. FRIULI GRAVE This vine comes from Borgogna (France) and it comes from a Pinot Nero’s buds ripening. Apart from colour, Pinot Grigio mantains all the best characteristics. Straw-coloured wine with a light copper reflex. It has a characteristic light scent and a dry taste, full, harmonious and a light bitter final taste.

Serving temperature: 8-10°C Pairing: starters, soups, fish and white meat


CABERNET FRANC D.O.C. VENEZIA

Arriving from the Bordeaux Area (France). Its presence, probably, dates back immediately after the Napoleonic Age. Its colour is intense red, and if long soaked, onto dregs of pressed grapes, of a characteristic blood red colour. If it gets old, it takes garnet red reflex. It has a peculiar personality, with a persisten characteristic herbaceous flavour.

Serving temperature: 16-18°C Pairing: poultry, game, roasted red and white meats, matured cheeses


MERLOT

D.O.C. VENEZIA Grape variety originating from the region of Bordeaux in France. A wine with a ruby red colour with purple tinges, characterized by an intense winey aroma and a dry, soft, slightly herbaceous taste, featuring the right tannin structure.

Serving temperature: 16-18°C Pairing: roasted red and white meats, game in general
