Having the privilege and honour of working alongside so many amazing and talented wellness practitioners has been a humbling experience. Since opening the Inner Arts Collective in 2014, we have met dozens of practitioners, listened to their passions, their altruistic intentions, and their vision for a healthier, happier world. At the same time, we have seen the community as a whole struggle with accessing the skills and resources that are so helpful in mainstream professional health communities - skills that would improve the practitioner's ability to deliver exceptional service, the client's experience of those services, and the community's ability to create system-level solutions to ensure the sustainability and professional reputation of holistic practice. It is our hope that through this new blended learning curriculum, more practitioners can access the skills, tools, and resources to bring both their private practice - as well as the healing arts community as a whole - to the next level.

BLENDED LEARNING PROGRAM JAN 31-MAR 7TH Time Management and Other Tips to Being Highly Effective in Your Practice

This 5 week professional development program kicks off right away with the "Treatment Coordination & Administration" Workshop with Grace Meaney on January 31st, followed by 3 online learning modules that bring participants through the habits and management tips of successful leaders. The modules are followed by a peer-topeer mentorship circle in Week 5, where participants consider the information learned and come together to target the practices that they feel would most help their business management, and receive support from their peers to make those targets happen. $ $

This professional development program includes 3 face - to - face workshops , 3 online learning modules , and an opportunity to win a complementary booking at the IAC for your event . Workshops include : 1 . Creating Community , on February 27th from 7 - 9pm , with Melanie Ollenberg , This workshop will unite the concepts of community development , event design , and program vision to help participants create events that unify and cultivate community while also staying in line with their program vision . 2 . Tools and Tips for Event Implementation on March 6th from 7 9pm , with Melanie Ollenberg This workshop speaks to best practices in event development but also some tips in authentic communication , so your presence and event are also aligned to your business vision and brand . 3 . Marketing from a Place of Joy & Intention , April 25th from 7 - 9pm , with Adrienne Enns This workshop will ensure each participant will market their event or series of events from a place of authenticity , positivity , and intention . Following the completion of the workshops , participants will be invited to present their event concept , receive recommendations for improvement from their peers , and have the chance at winning a complementary booking at the IAC with social media support . $ $

Program & Service Design for Independent Practitioners ​ This program introduces key concepts and best practices of program and service design , with recommendations that specifically target independent wellness practitioners . This is accomplished through 3 workshops , described below , 3 online learning modules , & 1 one - on one consultation session to support idea completion & next steps . 1 . Creating Community , on February 27th from 7 - 9pm , with Melanie Ollenberg , This workshop will unite the concepts of community development , event design , and program vision to help participants create events and programs that unify and cultivate community while also staying in line with their program vision . 2 . Understanding Change on March 28th from 7 - 9pm , with Change Management consultant Gary Slye , where participants learn the concepts of Change to create programs that meet clients where they are at in terms of readiness to change , and use your program design to move them further along the stages of change towards true actualization of their goals 3 . Marketing from a Place of Joy & Intention , April 25th from 7 - 9pm , with Adrienne Enns This workshop will ensure each participant markets their event or series of events combining best practices of marketing , with tips on how to create from a place of authenticity , positivity , and intention . $ $

Developing Effective Collaborations to Grow Your Healing Practice and Bring Exceptional Care to Others As practitioners, we are used to working alone with our clients, but imagine a world where practitioners work in partnership with other practitioners and organizations to create healthier outcomes in the communities they serve. While this is common practice in mainstream health systems, the fields of alternative and complementary care as well as those of coaching, counselling and therapy, are not accustomed to or trained in best practices for collaboration. In this program, participants completing "Program and Service Design for Independent Practitioners" are invited to "Creating Healthy Collaborations, on Monday, May 23rd from 7-9pm". This workshop brings a synthesis of tools, skills, and resources to support practitioners in deciding when collaboration is the most effective solution, and tips for nurturing partnerships and outcomes over time.

Following this seminar, participants receive 3 online learning modules, and are invited to attend 3 onsite peer learning circles to work through the Collaborations Toolkit to support practitioners in this process on Mondays June 5th, 12th, and 19th from 4-6pm. $ $
