Moulded & Cast Letters When looking for added dimension in your letters and logo, moulded plastic or cast metal can provide the solution. Additional thickness, as well as various face options such as flat, rounded and prismatic, are characteristics of moulded letters and logos. The timeless elegance and natural durability of metal letters creates a sense of permanence. Both moulded and cast products are available in a wide variety of colours and finishes versatile enough to give you the exact look and feel you are searching for. Back-lit Channel Letters Channel letters are constructed to house their own light source internally. This provides added protection to the electric components while maintaining a streamlined appearance. Commonly seen in modern plazas and on storefronts, these signs are reliable and allow excellent readability day and night. Using modern LED (Light Emitting Diode) modules gives you a much longer lasting and efficient light source than was previously possible with neon. Expect years of energy saving service from your channel letters!

On site We get to work as soon as we get your call. Setting up an appointment to meet at the final site of your sign is the best first step for your important signage. At these meetings we have the opportunity to speak face to face about your intentions and how to make them a reality. Taking a few measurements, photos and asking a few questions is the foundation on which we can design, fabricate and install your sign with confidence.
In Shop When you drop by the sign shop there’s always plenty to look at. Sit with us at a computer station while we design your sign. See first hand the materials and equipment we will use to build your sign. Discuss your options and view various examples to better understand what will work for you.

Since every sign is unique so is every price. We understand the importance of the bottom line which is why we price every sign individually. By doing this you will only be paying for the materials and labour needed to make that exact sign. Once we have all of the needed information you will receive your quote very quickly - usually today or tomorrow.
Drawings See what we can do! With most quotes, we are able to send a detailed drawing of your sign so that you can better understand the final product. If the artwork will later be installed on a building or vehicle, we will also provide a computer generated image showing, to scale, what it will look like after it has been installed.

File Types When sending us artwork that has already been created, such as a logo or layout, it is recommended that the following guidelines be used to ensure the final product looks the best it can and exactly as it is intended to.

Vector Artwork - Should be used whenever possible. Vector art is a system that uses lines, shapes and colours to create letters and designs. It can be scaled to any size without losing quality and its file sizes are much smaller than raster images. Vector art can be used to create most logos and should always be used for text. Please convert any text to outlines before sending it to us.

Raster Images - Should be used for pictures. Raster images (or “Bitmaps”) can combine thousands of coloured pixels (tiny squares) to create a beautifully detailed image. However they loose quality quickly when being scaled to a large size. They also have much larger file sizes than vector art. Raster images should be used for detailed images and photographs. For the best quality, images should be at least 150 dpi at their final size. The highest possible resolution is recommended. Plastic Plastics make terrific outdoor signs. Staying clean in all weather while being impervious to rust or rot, making them very low maintenance. A wide selection of coloured plastics are extremely resistant to fading, even after years of exposure to sunlight. Even with all of the latest technology and materials, paint stands the test of time. Often the most enduring and vibrant signage is painted. This is a technique we at Signs by Jukes have been using for decades and is a service often not available at other sign shops. Our equipment and years of experience allow us to use paint to seamlessly coat larger signs that can outlast those created by the most state of the art equipment.

Installation & Removal Vinyl & Print Graphics We produce our own vinyl and print graphics, so naturally, we are happy to install them. When the time comes for a change we are also able to remove these graphics. Installation and removal can be done on site for all of your windows, doors and any other suitable surface. For the best results it is recommended that items be brought to our location for the installation/removal of graphics whenever possible. Installing vinyl letters on a large plastic sign-face
