Chembridge International This is an office of a corporation which is the supplier and researcher of high-tech industrial raw materials. The designer used the concept of molecules to accentuate the unique characteristic of this project. The concept of molecule starts from the center of the office and spirals outwards. The center of the office desks has a molecular organization, depicting the logic of high-technology and profession, making the penetrating space connects to the molecular structure. This project allows spatial sense and sensibility, solid and void, external and internal world to converge through representations of light and shade in the abstract space.

Using the concept of molecular structure as the main feature of this project, the rational aura between brand and space are drawn together to undergo an abstraction of vision, so that geometry is most naturally portrayed in space through light forms.

Combining elements of geometrically cut surfaces and rhythmic lines, a rational sense of beauty is created. Upon entering, a meeting room built with glass comes to view, aspiring beauty drawn from precision and delicacy.

Like a highlight or turn in the course of space, the resting area utilizes a street view of Italy to introduce a slight feeling of romance to the office, bringing liveliness to an otherwise sedate office, as though encompassing the area with soft beams of sunlight and opening a breathing window to the world before your eyes.

2

Ch embr i d ge In t erna t i o n al

Like a concerto, the crossover of multiple layers, a mirroring of the present and the absent, blending in the display of abstract lines and using rational boundaries to define aesthetics, combining humanism and intellectuality, while using sensual thinking to construct this office appearance.

The reception area has an effect of space conversion, sculpted cut surfaces portray intricate changes between light and shade; relations among different areas are composed as though atoms to a molecule, forming an integration of order in its arrangement.

A scrupulously cut surface descends from above, precise with golden proportions, adding to the interconnectivity of this space. The natural arrangement of spatial form allows the emergence of natural light and shade, simulating a uid diagonal cut of light and shade.

Ch embr i d ge In t erna t i o n al

Lines and blocks overlap, so that the two complement each other like light and shade, with its form or absence thereof, an object and its shadow, and cropped lines strewn across the space, sculpting cut surfaces and diagonally cut lines, as geometrical lines are extensively laid across the space.

Use of permeable spaces resemble that of molecular bonding, bringing humanism, intellectuality, and technology together, with sensual methods, so that the lines used in the ceiling portray light and shadow and that the entire space produces sparks of rationality and sensuality.

Tranquility of city City is too noisy, only home is a delightful place after working hard. This designing hopes that peaceful feeling takes into space atmosphere. When we come back, you will see child's smile, wife prepares dinner , concern to each other, enjoy the play game, or in the midnight, you just need to drink wine for relaxing yourself. It is a Tranquility where you belong.

Mirror reflections, signifying the ability to see a nonexistent image of a real space- this virtual and create infinite possibilities. The wall and the mirror wall complete the space and complement each other. The interior is brightened by exterior light. The gray interior space is veiled with a sense of mystery as the chandelier floats in space in the illusion.

Tr a nqui li t y of city The open environment such as the kitchen island links the route with the dining table. It satisfies the hostess’ dream of cooking and dining with family. The wall made by dark wooden railings on the other side suppresses the lines and creates the simple grey vision. It brings the proprietor the tender and tranquility belonging to the family house.

The proprietor is a market supervisor of a foreign enterprise responsible for the importation and exportation of cigar. With the concept of cigar, we try to express the flavor. Smoking cigar feels like tasting certain flavor. The flavor of cigar makes people feel relaxed and lose the awareness of location. The concept is applied in the space for tasting the unforgettable flavor.

The smoke of cigar looks like the dream world in the forest. It awakens the expected tranquility in dreams. The designing adopts various colors such as grey and brown wooden texture for the concept of cigar. The decoration of furniture expresses the quality. The cooperation of warm light and mirror images introduces the greenness outside the window to the indoor vision. The obvious differences in feelings between surreal aesthetics and actual life are not uncomfortable at all.

Traveler’s Hostel ATTIC On the day a traveler arrives at this little hostel, he or she encounters all that has happened here, creating life with the ineluctable ticking of time, sealed in the cluster of houses like a beehive, and travelers can store the things they wish to remember here too. Thus, the memories of this place extend one after another without end, resting in the memories of travelers one by one, building up a system that records the memories of Treasure Hill, comparable or contrasting: how the houses of this settlement were built, the names of the residents and all the stories that transpired behind each of the windows.

Attic Hostel is a non-profit organization. We define the Guest House for arts, culture, history and interested in the life of domestic and international travelers thought Home stay to experience depth of cultural experience, participation in public life or for short artistic created. We provide the space to gather and exchanges for resident and artists-in-residence ,and hope to bring out the possibility of artistic creation and activation.

We called our hostel "attic." This attic has become a storeroom of memories, where this place's past and its present realities are saved. It is a home for what has vanished and what has remained. All things that gather here, dissipate here as well. Everything comes to an end in an impermanent state of life.

Concept

Tra v el e r ’s H o s t e l ATT I C Space Concept

The foundation is a 3-floor building. It has 7 rooms with 18 beds to offer. The main concept is “recovery.” The considerate regional planning integrates the original public space, neighborhood, and environment. The integration makes a smooth route and the linkage between each region for maintaining the original life style. The unique natural landscape and historical background of Treasure Hill are totally presented to all travelers.

Original Situation

The original arrangement of space is broken. The reception area is expanded and the entrance route is changed. There is more room withdrawn and it takes a turning point to meet the attic

We hope to reveal the trace of time through the spatial dimension of the “youth house.” Travelers can experience the living residence left by history. Meanwhile, the opening of living behavior to the global experiences can include both past and foreign elements and create a linkage of clues. All these elements will be kept in the memory of travelers. Memories will make more memories.

Urban Trace Incidentally

History, preserves in the urban trace. If you have ever felt a sense of excitementand mystery going inside an old building ,because its materials and features resonate with the spirit of past people and events. When a historic structureis examined architecturally, and its evolution over time emerges with increasing clarity to reveal the lives of its occupants.

historic area in Taipei ,Taiwan . They carry out cargo delivery in Taipei Dadaocheng Wharf for a long time ago.Dihua Street of Dadaocheng is not only the oldest streets, but also is the commercial activities of cord since Qing Dynasty. It still has maintained feature...... Taking a trip is like through the time tunnel, you can vide and deep traces about old Taipei's development, it is miraculous and interesting experience. In different period of colonial buildings have different characteristics. In order to accommodate more facade, they were part of a long strip of span style shops and narrow streets except for a few stores. We pretend to research cultural and history, and ďŹ nd discard site which government is planning to transform.connecting ďŹ ve houses in Dihua Street between Minle Street, we inject more something Possibility into the area......

Target Accidentally ,when walking in Dihua Street, , I found that many foreign tourists appreciate and enjoy the old facade. But not cursory group tour, it's backpacker who would like to deeply realize in the region. We want to provide backpackers a place for consultation. They can take a rest and have communication here.
