Back in 2004, Sika® also acquired the engineering silicone business from Wacker-Chemie GmbH. Wacker’s structural glazing adhesive Elastosil® SG-500 had already been used for more than 10 years by the renowned curtain wall fabricators Josef Gartner and Schmidlin AG. Changing the name from Elastosil® to Sikasil®, Sika® composed a unique product portfolio around the silicone products. Along with the Sika® Façade Competence Centre in Switzerland, and their technical know-how, and the strong on site service in the UK, Sika® has become THE partner for sealing, bonding and water-proofing in London’s glass façades. Over the last 10 years Sika’s input into these large architectural feats has got stronger and stronger. Sika® can now boast partnership in more than 80 of London’s largest and most iconic landmarks.

Now, combining the renowned Sika® expertise gained on large construction sites and those iconic architectural façade structures of London, with the local production capability of Everbuild, we have been able to create the perfect package for window, door and roofline installers. Providing all the products an Installer will need from a single source, we have a package they can be confident to use. Multi Use Wonder Wipes

PVCu Solvent Cleaner

Multi-Use Wonder Wipes are specially formulated to clean hands, tools and surfaces from wet and semi-cured paint, sealant, adhesive, bitumen, expanding foam, oil, grease and even silicone. Useful when there is no water on site.

PVCu Solvent Cleaner is a solvent based product formulated to remove ingrained dirt from PVCu and most plastics. Also suitable to restore an “as new” look to old windows and plastic garden furniture.

Wonder Wipes now contain a powerful Anti-Bacterial Additive that is tested by an independent laboratory to BSEN 1276:2009 and PREN 12054:1995 – the standards for killing bacteria on dirty surfaces and hands.
