Chocolate Cherry INGREDIENTS CAKE 6 tablespoons butter 1 cup sugar 1/2 cup brown sugar 3/4 cups cocoa powder 1/2 cup cherry juice 2 eggs 1/2 teaspoon salt 3/4 cups milk 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 3/4 cups flour

FROSTING 1/2 cup butter 8oz cream cheese 3 cups powdered sugar 3-5 tablespoons cherry juice

DIRECTIONS Step 1: Preheat oven to 350*

Serves 24 Prep time 10 minutes Cook time 14 minutes

Step 2: Beat together butter and sugars until smooth. Step 3: Add in the cocoa and cherry juice and mix thoroughly. Step 4: Next, add the salt, eggs, and milk and mix until well combined. Step 5: Steadily insert in the baking powder, soda and flour. Once combined, mix comprehensively for one minute. Step 6: Fill the cake batter 2/3 of the way in 24 liners placed in a cupcake pan. Bake for 14 minutes. Let cool on racks completely before frosting. Step 7: Beat butter and cream cheese until smooth. Add in powdered sugar and beat well. Pour in cherry juice one tablespoon at a time and continue beating until it reaches the desired consistency. Pipe onto cooled cupcakes. Top each cupcake with a cherry.
