How far can an eyewear start-up from Linz go?

Far beyond 100 countries. And even to space. The Austrian brand Silhouette has become number one in rimless premium glasses. Worldwide, and probably in the entire universe.

If you are hanging outside a space station 400 kilometres away from Earth to repair the power supply, you really can’t afford to make mistakes. Above: the defective solar sail. Below: the bright blue, gigantic Earth, with snow-white clouds drifting over it. In between: the deep black, minus 270-degree cold infinity of space. Spacewalks are not a walk in the park. In fact, there is hardly anything more dangerous for an astronaut than an activity outside the spacecraft. Every move has to be correctly executed. To adjust your glasses? It’s impossible in a spacesuit. Moreover, such spacewalk missions usually last several hours.

Therefore, the mission’s success also depends on the temples of the space-certified Titan Minimal Art glasses by Silhouette.
