GALÁPAGOS – NORTHERN A frenzy of wildlife

Golden rays grace the waters of Bahia Gardner, Española Island

Sea lions. Lava lizards. The short-eared owl. Fearless as they are, the wildlife of the Galápagos will captivate all your senses. It’s a fascinating concept as you consider the range of islands explored on this expedition. Española is amongst the oldest of islands in all the Galápagos, estimated to be about 4 million years old and one of the only places on Earth to find the waved albatross. Fernandina, meanwhile, is one of the archipelago’s youngest isles, highly revered for its snorkelling and birdwatching. Through the course of this journey, you can see spectacular water-spouting “blowers,” climb the famed Prince Philip Steps, and learn about the history of these fascinating islands.
