Long Branch Business News Business League Launches New Logo, Web-site

The Long Branch Business League and the area it represents is alive, growing and colorful. Those are some of the ideas that went into the League’s decorative new logo. It will now be appearing on all Long Branch Business League publications — and also on the new Long Branch Business League website, which will get a formal launch later this fall. La idea es que para sus clientes sea un placer el estar en su tienda o negocio, y que quieran regresar. Los sonidos, luces, limpieza y aún la aroma crean una atmósfera placentera.

Discover Long Branch! Business League Launches Promotional Effort Long Branch’s commercial area has a lot of strengths — fantastic restaurants, strong services, local owners who love their neighborhood and who have earned their clients’ trust. We all know that. But how can we get the word out to more of those many people who have yet to discover us? That’s the question the Business League’s new ‘Discover Long Branch!’ campaign means to answer. Discover Long Branch will be a series of fun, festive events that tempt new customers to visit Long Branch businesses. At each Discover Long Branch event, customers will get the chance to meet the owner, enjoy special discounts and be entertained by innovative arts and music.

The first Discover Long Branch event will be held at El Golfo (Dec. 3, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.). Community Thrift Store and ZP Tax have also signed up to participate on later dates. El Golfo will offer customers a 25% off Can this giant tricycle attract promotion during the new clients to your business? event! For children of all ages, there will be a giant tricycle to ride, weather permitting. The giant tricycle (see picture) was created by local sculptor Howard Connelly. Display and Sales Tips for the Holidays 1. Holiday music, if you choose to use it, should be varied in style because tastes vary widely. The key is to make being in your store or business a pleasure, so clients return again and again. Sound, lighting, cleanliness, and even aroma create the atmosphere! 2. Find props for your holiday display at garage sales or flea markets. An old wooden ladder, a children’s wagon, or a high stool will all make good displays if painted a bright red or green. 3. Use cardboard boxes wrapped in bright gift wrap and place prominently around items you would like holiday shoppers to notice. Also, inexpensive clip-on spot lighting can be found in stores like Home Depot or Lowe’s. Good lighting will make your products stand out just as if they were under floodlights on a stage.
