Please only take up the pitch space you need, additional pitches are available for larger groups at the discretion of the campsite stewards.

Bin bags will be issued to all campers on arrival. Please place filled bags in the designated waste disposal areas for regular collection. Help us keep the campsite tidy!

Security

Tents are very vulnerable, if you’re worried about something being stolen, don’t leave it in your tent. If possible lock valuables away in your car or in the event village with The Big Locker Hire Co.

not only is it worth reporting to the police, but it is worth reporting to the campsite information points who can check Lost Property. Make friends with your neighbours – if everyone looks out for each other then your stuff will be safer.

If you see crime taking place, or people acting suspiciously, report it to the campsite stewards who are patrolling; they are there to help and to deal with these sorts of incidents. The Police will be running a Smartwater scheme in the campsite. ‘Dummy tents’ will be present. Criminals beware!

FIRE & SAFETY

In the event of a fire, raise the alarm with the nearest campsite steward.

If you do lose something,

Beware! Do not carry tall flag poles whilst walking in the proximity of the power lines and please don’t camp under the power lines. Only drink water from the designated ‘DRINKING WATER’ points.

Shuttles

Tractor shuttles are free. They are there to help people who may struggle with walking to and from the circuit. They follow a designated route and only stop at shuttle stops. Shuttles operate 07:00 - 19:00 Fri- Sun. Sundays service may stop is site traffic is too heavy.

Carbon Monoxide

Carbon Monoxide is produced by burning any fossil fuel, including charcoal, LPG, Butane and Propane. It will build up in the confined space of tents, caravans and awnings. You cannot smell, taste or see Carbon Monoxide - be aware it can kill!

Do not use camping stoves or BBQs inside your tent/ awning and consider wind direction when placing BBQs so you do not fill your tent with poisonous gases. Do not use spent BBQs or cooking equipment inside tents for warmth.

Gazebos

In the event of high winds you may be asked to dismantle your gazebo irrelevant of size or quality. This is due to multiple dangerous incidents of gazebos blowing away. Erecting gazebos is done so at the owner’s risk; any damage caused by them is the sole responsibility of the gazebo’s owner.

Shower Tokens

If queuing for a shower becomes a problem, or takes too much time, we may operate a shower token system.

More information will be given on-site but, basically, you’ll need to collect a shower token from just outside the shower blocks and pop it into the token machine near the shower to get hot water.

In this way, everyone gets the same time in the shower.
