Silvia Sereno Regis

NAME Silvia SURNAME Sereno Regis NATIONALITY Italian PLACE AND DATE OF BIRTH Turin, 03/07/1991

I studied at the Faculty of Architecture at the Polytechnic School of Turin. Subsequently I started the master program: Architecture and Sustainability Design. I have gained experience about sustainability with reference to space organization, design in various scale and management of complex programmes. In addition to studying the technical aspects of sustainability and architecture, I always studied creative ways to represent an architecture work: architectural models, isometric views, professional photography, photomontages, videos, hand drawings. I finally completed with profit my studies in July 2016 with a thesis about the design of a Public Library in London, where the sustainable approach is linked to the concept of parametric architecture. I’m a hard worker, a quick learner, and I am eager to expand both my professional knowledge and my language skills. I am an attentive listener and give great attention to details. I like staying with people and I am always learning and paying attention to how the others are working and living, taking from them everything interesting for my own experience. My objective is finding an environment both stimulating on a creative level and on the human one, to grow further and to test my acquired skills with other people. I am a meticulous learner and productive designer. I enjoy challenges and can organize my time to effectively develop a concept into a drawing, a project into a design.

SUSTAINABILITY AND STRATEGIES 1. maintain the same lines and forms of the site at the ground floor. 2. follow the sunlight for the elevations and volumes.

3. study the shadows and the sunlight: move the functions based on light.

3. try to exploit the speed of the wind to create a natural ventilation, using the gap between the two volumes as a ventilation chimney.
