NO FEAR means to be proud. NO FEAR means to choose to evolve and to expose what we are. NO FEAR means to have no regrets and to be strong. This exhibition is trying to display those traits through the works of five artists working in Sweden, Germany and Italy. They work with queer realities, with their bodies, fears, and desires. To belong to a transgender identity means daring to cross a dividing line that for most of the time determines who we are, what we do and what rightly belongs to us: our experiences, feelings and opportunities. To cross this line also means to change fixed notions and to produce strange new shapes. We want to communicate this with the exhibition NO FEAR. Pipi Sanchez is an artist working in Italy and Germany. She mixes video with performance art to communicate the disorders and the disillusionments that are inherent in a relationship with somebody different from ourselves. Ego cannot provide love and care. She describes her fear of her body and the secret desires in her mind. Elinore Lindén Strand is a Swedish artist and curator showing her art through the platform KKB (Kunst Kasermen Berlin). Some of her photographic works serve as melancholy urban reports from within the "queer pride" movement. The bodies and the situations that she portrays are akin to a pervert’s poems, like secrets memories hidden inside an old diary. Frida Isotalo, also Swedish, has studied art in Japan and will show her interpretation of NO FEAR through the taboo of death. Her work ritualizes vanity and vacuity in a death dance, lost in a hedonistic, trancelike perception of her own body. Stina Andersson enriches the exhibition with her powerful works, riotous and full of symbolism. Visitors will be spellbound by the contrast of violence and joy that is Stina. Her playful approach to art communicates easily and is pleasurable to behold. Barbara and Åslög are two Berlin-based artists who will perform using their bodies, playing drag-clad games with a powerful sexual content. During these four days, we hope to grant our visitors strength and consciousness, and to charge them with a sexual energies and a strong point of view focused through the lens of a queer reality. Genders, bodies and sexualities are flexible. Have NO FEAR. Enjoy it.
ELINORE LINDÉN STRAND Enjoying inspiration from glossy fashion photography, fucked up porn and weird-ass d.i.y. street art. Exploring the dichotomy between public/open VS private/intimate. Questioning the rules and borders surrounding contemporary sexuality. Giving her take on European history’s shaping of the kink-flood on grindr and growlr. Plus, on the feeling of belonging, although longing to escape. P R E S E N T I N G : Photography/Readymades/Installation Lindén Strand was born 81 and is currently based in Stockholm. -

FRIDA ISOSTALO I am a 31 year old, queer artist living in Stockholm, recently returned home from a long stay in Japan, Tokyo where I attended a university for fine arts. My school in Sweden is Konstfack, where I study to become a visual art teacher. My works are mainly focused on identity and death. Especially girls culture and the construction of one self through the rituals of clothes. “The performance will be a visual sensation, a cosmic dance between strange figures. By combining elements of our past/ present and light/darkness we will explore the dreamstate of reality and the sweet promise of the escapism “

PIPI SANCHEZ “Pipi Sanchez is an avatar. Pipi Sanchez is an indipendent artist who’s working with videos and steaching. She wants to find through her jobs, her true love. At the moment she is an alchoolic stripper who’s working in Berlin” “Walking by, is a way to reach the future as soon as possible. We’d find out in the past just the experiences. We are all experienced as long as is true that we are sexual exploited parts”
