The building facade is covered in horizontal secondary skin which is an abstraction from the weaving process. Woven bamboo is one of the Sundanese handicrafts which is quite popular. The horizontal streamline formed by the secondary skin also reects the iconic Art Deco style in the city of Bandung, since the site's position is quite close to the Art Deco-style conservation building.

Interlocking Bricks for Curved Modular Living Wall INTERLOCKING BRICK DESIGN EXPERIMENT RESEARCH (8TH SEMESTER)
Green walls are one of the solutions of limited green urban area problems. Increasing population, limited land supply, and the increasing rate of urban development resulted in increasing urban land value. These also cause environmental quality deterioration due to decreasing green spaces in urban areas. Green walls refer to vegetated wall surfaces as vertical green spaces that can be applied in small spaces. Living walls are green walls construction system that allow plants to grow on vertical surfaces. Generally, living walls are separated elements from walls, that require particular iron or steel frame constructions which are often difcult to be applied to curved walls. Interlocking bricks are potential materials to be modied, so they can be used for the construction of curved living walls. Interlocking bricks are shaped like Lego which have “interlocks” that can make the construction process easier and faster, while increasing the strength of the walls. The design modication in this study resulted in ve modular living wall design prototypes which equipped with interlocking systems and can be applied to curved walls. There are two holes in the middle of the designed modules which can be reinforced casted to obtain permanent bond between the modules. These modular living wall designs also allow the drip irrigation systems.

Kresna House / Bandung, Indonesia by SPACE LAB Visualized by Lucky Prasetyo, S.T., M.T.
Kresna house is a small, mixed-use house located in Bandung. This house is built on a small site with quite a lot of space requirements. It is designed with the concept of growing house, which allow additional oors in the future without much renovation. The ground oor that functions as the owner’s house was built rst, while the upper oor which functions as boarding house will be built few years later. Although the site is small, there are still gardens in front and back of the house. In addition, there is skylight in the laundry area so that the house still exposed to sunlight The access to the upper oor (boarding house) is placed outside on the front of the house, so it does not interfere with the privacy of the house.

Green Candi House / Semarang, Indonesia by SPACE LAB Visualized by Lucky Prasetyo, S.T., M.T.
Green Candi House is designed with modern minimalist style. There are gardens in front, middle, and back of the house. The house plan is designed by following the basic fengshui, therefore the entrance of the house is slightly deected so that it does not directly face the backyard. The north side of the site (back side of the house) leads to the valley which has a nice view. Therefore, the living room, dining room, and master bedroom are placed at the back of the house with wide openings viewing to the valley

Tanah Mas house is designed with passive house concept according to the owner’s requests. The site is facing the west, which also the reason for the minimum openings on the front facade of the house. The openings are maximized on the side and back facade of the house. Therefore, the side of the building (except the stairs and service area) is not directly attached to the neighboring house The living and dining room are placed on the back side of the ground oor viewing the backyard. Children’s playroom is partitioned with transparent shelves, so that it can be supervised from the living room. The bedrooms are placed on the upper oor.
