Project for a renewed residential area in the neighborhood Capelle aan den Ijssel, Rotterdam. A popular neighborhood with new homes, public spaces and connections between public and private, which contributes to an attractive city center and in every aspect breathes the image of Capelle aan den IJssel as a park city. Through an extensive range of different types of homes suitable for the elderly and families, new living environments are added to the center. These residential spaces make an important contribution to the transformation of the center into a livable, socially sustainable and future-proof environment. The new residents feel ownership of “their Courts and take care of their environment.

With only three cubes a tiny house is ready to be functional. Each cube is fully equipped with different services: bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom. A flexible extra cube can be installed as extension and it can contain additional functions as living room, dining room, studio or garden. The building is totally sustainable. The Faรงade panel system allows to open and close the 3QBHome based on light and privacy.

Project under construction

Project for a new private villa in Rotterdam. The clients love cars, nature and light effects. Entrance, living room, custumized kitchen, garage, inner garden and exterior garden are visually and physically connected as a big, open, spacious and functional space. The inside/outside feeling continues in the core of the house where a small garden goes from the basement to the first floor, giving to the project nature, light and a suggestive atmosphere. The garage is conceived as an extension of the living room, with sliding glass doors between the two areas. If the cars are out and the sliding doors open, the garage can change function and become a second living room for parties and special events.

Project for a new private villa in Rotterdam. A welcoming effect in this luxury villa is emphasized by a waterfall in the street facade as a surprise effect, element of relaxation and symbol of vitality. A sinuous curved wall goes through the ground floor, from the music area to the relaxing living room, incorporating kitchen cupboards, television and a fireplace. The curved wall includes also hidden doors towards the garage, kitchen annex and the gym. A sculptural staircase guides to the first floor where are located bedrooms, bathrooms and a nice terrace with a panoramic view towards the water in the adjacent park.

The project consists in a conservative restoration of the interior spaces of the Carta-Meloni Monastry. The aim is to dedicate them to collaborative workshops for the young people of Santu Lussurgiu. These are meant as co-working areas where artisans can share personal knowledge and interact together. The outdoor spaces will be revolutionized by a vegetable system which can create raw materials to support activities linked to the college and be a public space for the city of Santu Lussurgiu. Project completed in 2017

Interior design and consult for the renovation of an existing house for a private client. The client asked for a functional use of the space with a modern and well-lighted aspect. The entire house has been renovated and the most important innovations include the entrance, living room, dining room and kitchen. I proposed a new modern design for the kitchen space, directly connected with the dining area and the relaxing living room. With a new palette of colors the entire house looks completely new and adapted to the clients taste. Most of the furnitures in the living room are existing and just adapted at the new layout.

Project under construction

This multifuncional building is conceived to be a center for different activities as teaching, learning, meeting, exhibit and praying. The most important part of the project is the new extension room on the ground floor, imaged as a flexible space where it is possible to have an auditorium, an event space and a prayer room as a mosque. One part of this room can be separated, if necessary, or it can be opened as a complete open space. Cars can have access to the parking in the new basement under the existing garden using a car elevator.

4 FABRICS Curtains and panels are realized using traditional fabrics that give identity to the project and at the same time attenuate the sunlight.

1 LATERITE Low workability and easy to find, the laterite is used for the realization of bricks in the perimetral walls.

SHELLS OF CASAMANCE The shells of Casamance are used for the pavements as aggregate in the structural concrete and also as decoration.
