Brit Means Follow @meansybeansy “UNC grad, Explorer of Life, hype master, and complete nerd. I aspire to become a great voice actress so watch out world!
When you are a kid, you play make believe and talk in different voices, create characters, and build a world around you. Some people grow out of it, but for me it never stopped. I grew up watching nothing but cartoons and anime and playing various video games. I always found myself immersed in those worlds and inspired by the characters in them. Inspired by the voice actors who brought those characters to life and I wanted to do the same. Inspire someone. Some people write books, make art, dance to express themselves. I create voices for characters with no voice and I feel myself doing it.
This season I am playing Faith in the series "Letting Go." I really enjoy the fact that Faith's personality is so similar to one of my best friends' personality. I can image my friend saying everything Faith does and it makes me laugh. She's a snarky know-it-all and I love it.
The best advice I can give is that being able to act is the key to being a voice over artist. You are there to give the character it's voice, so you have to literally BE the character. A performance isn't good if it's not convincing.
SushiCat . I don't exactly remember how I started as a voice actor but I guess I decided to voice act because of voice over series I watched, or maybe it was because I found out I have an internal microphone (don't use anymore)
I voice act three characters. Ava from ADSOM, Jade from the sleepover and River from Merfreaks. I don't know much about the Jade or River but I enjoy voice acting Ava because she's almost like a simself of me.
Well the only advice I have is to learn from your voice acting mistakes so you can become better :3

It was a mix of coincidences. I always loved acting and simming, but I didn't know how to combine them.I started chating with Aussie Me after I saw her video. I was scared to be voice actress, because I didn't know what I had to do. She explained to me that it isn't that hard. So I decided to try out and I got my first role along side some amazing voice actors.
I am playing Aria in A Different Side of Me and Nikki in The Sleepover. I don't know many stuff about Nikki except from the fact that she has an amazing hairstyle. Aria has a very unique personality like every other character in ADSOM. That's what I like the most about her. In season one she was the new girl who turned out to be Connor's and Daxton's ex girlfriend. I think that she will cause a lot of drama in season 2.
Join a drama club. I think it will help you with your acting a lot. You will be surprised after a few moths. And it's fun and a great way to meet friends.

This will be the final selection of film preview interviews for the season, since now it is time to enjoy the actual films. In the coming seasons we will take what we have learned from this to improve the process and help get more of the film makers involved, interviewed and featured. Some of the interviews were not presented, but stay tuned as we will continue these features in our regular monthly magazines between now and next SIFF season. Today is the day that the films start so we will be hard at work in the SIFF office with playlist updates, voting polls, answering your questions and generally just making it all happen. We hope you will enjoy the films as much as we will. It has been such a pleasure getting to know all of the film makers during these interviews, so thank you all for your participation.
Good luck at SIFF everyone!

Mark Stone, director of RUN, has gone above and beyond when it comes to promoting his film. We wanted to draw attention to this as an inspiration for your own film promotions. One of the aspects of SIFF that we dabble in is the role-play concept - playing our Sims as if they are real (pretend) actors, and our film makers as directors. Mark Stone has taken this to the MAX by using interviews, actor profiles and even special events involving other SIFF participants.

This is it! This is the big weekend! Films premiere starting TODAY, and I am psyched! It seems like just yesterday that we entered the SIFF season!
It’s always exciting to see someone new enter SIFF, especially if they’re no stranger to machinima! I’m referring, of course, to StarsToShineX, who will be making her debut to SIFF this season! She’s submitting the Sims 2 series Seeking Faith, which is actually her FIFTH series! Plus, she has more than 1,000 YouTube subscribers, so it’ll be very exciting to see how her series turns out this month! Oh, and it’s a rom-com AND a drama, which I’m totally digging!
DNL Films is bringing us a brand new Sims 3 series called Unbreakable Fate. The voice-over trailer makes the series look very intense! OMG, it mentions characters’ fates and a curse! Very mysterious! Again, it’s calling to me! Awesome special effects in the trailer, too! So excited to see how it turns out! Let’s venture to the Red Carpet and see some of the awesome fashions, shall we? The cast of Forsaken Souls has dominated the event with stunning attire from golden shimmering gow ns to sophisticated Oscar-worthy suits. There’s even a little romance going on between Janice’s movie parents, Rian and Emily. Could they have a romance both on and off-screen? Intriguing! Let’s talk parties! I’m loving Punch’s VIP after-party scene, but I seriously suspect that someone spiked that punch. As in, the punch people are drinking, not the band. I should be investigating who did that, but I can’t stop laughing! Especially since Beth has obviously had a few too many and has to be dragged out! HA! Can’t believe the time is already here, but the movies will be making their debut before we know it! Get your popcorn ready, and your fingers so that you can navigate your computer mouse to vote! Good luck to all contestants!
