Consultant Physician in Rheumatology and Acute Medicine Clinical lead for Rheumatology, Biological Therapies and Research Hon. Reader in Investigational Clinical Rheumatology at the University of London Professor of Medicine at St Matthews University

Dr Tahir has extensive experience in preparing medicolegal reports for medical negligence and personal injury cases since 2005. Reports are written in line with CPR recommendations, providing carefully written, balanced and independent opinion, while highlighting the possible range of opinion on the matter in question. Typically, clients are seen within 14 days and reports completed within a further 14 days.

He has assessed over 100 personal injury cases affecting claimants with inflammatory arthritis including rheumatoid and psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis and lupus, as well as those with fibromyalgia, spinal pain, and other chronic pain syndromes including fibromyalgia.

He is available to be instructed as a Single Joint Expert, for Consultations, Examinations and preparations of medico-legal reports, including desk top reports. He is available for court appearances and conferences with counsel in preparation for the case. Emergency reports undertaken.

He is available to prepare reports in all locations in the UK.

Dr Tahir is a registered member of The National Expert Witness Agency, Premex Plus Panel, and Expert Witness (Est 1996).
