NEEDED

TRANSLATORS AND INTEPRETERS! WE NEED YOU

We are in urgent need of translators and interpreters from English into French, Spanish, Portuguese, Korean and Mandarin.

We want to ensure everyone in SIM can access the knowledge needed for leadership roles, which is why translation and interpretation is so vital.

We need translators for prayer materials, documents and even some emails. We would love to grow our pool of translators so that no-one is ever asked to do more than they feel comfortable with.

Our interpreters allow people across SIM to play a full part in online and in-person meetings. We have many bilingual staff and you could encourage them to try interpreting. They need a high degree of proficiency in both languages but can start by sitting behind one person who needs interpretation and whispering in their ear during a meeting. Some people just have a knack for it, and with practice, can get even better!
