Mission 1: Civil Patrol Aircraft: Light Fixed Wing Aircraft Forest fires have no time or place set to detonate. Therefore it is necessary that pilots take off from any airport of choice using private or aero clubs aircrafts and patrol the forests in search of signs of fire. The designated area for the operation will be a circle with 120 km in diameter centered on the Proenรงaa-Nova Aerodrome, which will be the base for amphibian aircrafts. With fire in sight, and in order to start the fight as soon as possible, pilots should immediately report the location and approximate coordinates to Lisboa (Lisbon) Military frequency.
Mission 2: Initial Attack Aircraft: Light Rotary Wing Bases: LPSE Seia, LPPN Proenรงa-a-Nova, LPCO Coimbra After the alert, pilots in readiness for the initial attack will receive instructions of where it should go. Only three aircraft simultaneously will be allowed on each fire front. On the scene, it's time for the landing of the "Forรงa Especial de Bombeiros Canarinhos" and look near for water collection points. It is the responsibility of the pilots involved coordinate the unloading operation, and for that purpose they should use the privat chat in the IVAP. After two water discharges it is time to return to base. On Lisbon Military frequency, and depending on availability, a new mission will be assigned.

Mission 3: Extended Attack Aircraft: Kamov's (or equivalent), Fixed Wing Amphibians Base: LPPN Proenรงa-a-Nova Despite the excellent efforts of the "Forรงa Especial de Bombeiros Canarinhos" and the initial aerial attack, in some cases this work was not sufficient, requiring heavier resources. The EMA Kamov's and the amphibians aircrafts parked in Proenรงa-a-Nova Airfield need qualified staff to operate. We rely on our pilots skills for this demanding mission. Depending on the fire's location, a short briefing will be made with the coordinates and possible locations for the scooping. Whilst over the area, apply the same rules of mission 2 with maximum 3 simultaneous aircrafts per location.
