FITT HEADQUARTER Architecture Competition

Vicenza_ 2021 In collaboration with: Arch. Veronica Fusaro YAC_Young Architects Competitions : Finalist

The new Fitt headquarters will offer not only its staff but also all the residents around an innovative place for work, leisure and meeting. Adjacent to the existing Fitt production center, new offices will be built, equipped with every type of service. The existing structure in raw material will be hidden with a restyling of the facade, a skin made of polycarbonate panels and a selfsupporting aluminum structure: a light but resistant material that create a play of light and transparency, obtaining privacy when needed but at the same time natural light. The same skin is repeated on the new design so that it will appear as a unique and homogeneous complex in the eyes of the guests. The two buildings will be connected on the first floor by the “Y” , a big terrace which leads the workers in the pre-existing building to the canteen on the opposite side and to the rooms where they can rest or reside for a short period. The restaurant can therefore also be reached directly by visitors from the outside through the grand monumental staircase, while from the inside it is at the end of the showroom route. Visitors and potential customers enter from the hall on the main street front, from here you can go directly to the Auditorium, or to the laboratories and showrooms. this last space is developed in a path from which you can observe the activities in the laboratories. The project is made by huge open spaces that can be modulated by the furniture and panels. We find this same concept in the laboratories, the workspaces and the multifunctional spaces. This guarantees maximum flexibility of spaces, also for the future. They’re new ways of space design that aim at the cohesion of the users but also the creation of intimate spaces.

VA L D O B B I A D E N E B & B Architecture Design Class

Venice _ 2013 IUAV Prof. Pier Antonio Val Individual project

It is the first project at the first year of University in Venice. I was lucky to meet a capable professor who transmitted me the passion and knowledge to face those five academic years. In that project we could had a comparison between the old and the new, the local culture and the innovation. Through architecture, the goal was to create a new environment and function that would enhance the tourist course of the taverns and the wine. The Prosecco Route in Valdobbiadene is the most famous tourist track to taste the Venetian cuisine and the wines of the north-east of Italy, especially prosecco, originating in these lands In front of the tavern itself there is an open, two-storey building, which gives its name to the tavern “alla terrazza” (on the terrace). The project consists of a development of this fabric, playing with the differences in the height of the land, I created a closed building developed on three floors. You enter from floor 0, contiguous to the terrace, at the same level as the street, and go down to its bedrooms on floor -1 and -2. The project follows guidelines for dimensions such as width and height, to better fit into the context. Each space has its own terrace and glazed grade to better observe and experience the landscape made up of vines. The open terrace will continue to be used to host some tavern tables, while inside there is the breakfast room or to organize and host any tasting events. The bedrooms are double and are designed for short stays, whether they are for work or leisure.

They want to become bigger and attracting more tourists and businessmen. Our rule instead was to deal about the strategy. CHAIR Chair design contest

Italy_ 2021 Individual project Porada International Design Award
