USED TO DO?

BAJCA Emotional Keyboard Project with Adriano Design studio, IF Product Design Award 2011 Turin ‘09 New patterns of communication define a need fo new ways of communicating. Bajca is a the Keyboard that answers to those new ways of communicating through the net in a plug and play way. Bajca is a collaboration with Adriano Design Studio for my internship.

WITH INTERACTIVE STUFF?

SKETCHONARY

Toolkit for interaction designers Paper at TEI’11 student project, StudioLab, TU Delft ‘10

Industrial design shapes materials but interaction shapes experience and information. Sketchonary is a way to bridge this gap and enable people with no experience to discover the world of physical computing by visually adding information and by discovering interactivity through sketching. Sketchonary is platform that enable visual translation of designer’s mental models into programming logic. Developed with Reactivision, Flash and Arduino.

SMART[ER] Mobile phone concept project for ENVIU and TUDelft Delft and Rotterdam ‘10

Today’s Smartphones gives users a chance to always be connected, but doesn’t allow them to get smartly disconnected. Smarter is a next step that enables the user to fill the gap between total connectivity and no connectivity. It allows the user to detach from the polluted world of information to create a pure moment of freedom from communication needs. Incoming information is selectively deflected when the user enter a specific mode, The Bubble. In this mode feedback is more subtle and getures become a way to reach detachment.

MIBBLE

Alive feedback system of design choices student project, StudioLab, TU Delft ‘09 Mibble is physical, biomorph and out-of –the-screen feedback system that uses a plant as an alive display of the status of the project in a design office. Perceptions are gathered in a form of Twitter posts that are analyzed in order to understand the positive/negative trend, then translated into influence for the growth of the plant, that enahances the responsibility and control on design process.

NEWSCHROMIA Data visualization of word parsing from the New York Times self project, Rotterdam ‘10 The news everyday tell us about the “white” house, or the “red” carpet or about some “blue” dolphins sold in the “black” market saved by “green” peace… well Vogue decide each year which is the new black, but colors may come also from what we say. Done with Processing library Json to scan the Times Api and i’ve turned those words into colors and mixed them to see what is the really “said” colour of the year.

SOUL

Visualization and pattern definition of emotional states student project, TU Delft ‘09 How to visualize your personality and mental state in an abstract visualization? Soul is a generator which creates motion patterns based on the input of a user. Is an emotional state visualizer that allows to control various parameters to express your inner feelings in a dynamic way. The starting shape that creates the patterns is decided by the person and it represent their “pixel, their soul-brick. Made with Processing.

Complexity is achieved through a proliferation of a single component with parametric changes of properties. These changes are actuated to define an interactive adaptable structure Developed with Grasshopper, Rhino and Arduino.
