PROGRAMME

Saturday 15th December 2012 THE CANDLE MAY HAVE BURNT TWICE AS FAST BUT IT BURNT TWICE AS BRIGHTLY

2012

As many of you will know, Charlie packed so much into his short life but his true passion was Hockey. Many of the boys who played hockey with him wanted a tribute game to celebrate this passion and so The Charlie Hutton Hockey Festival was conceived. With the kind help of too many to mention, today is a celebration of what Charlie loved - the skills, passion and fun that make hockey such a great sport. The day will have that competitive edge that makes every sport worth watching but it is also about having fun. We hope that the day is a great success, for Charlie, Whitgift School, all the players and for the RNLI. We also hope that this will become an annual event so that both Juniors and Seniors can come together to celebrate the sport, share their progress and keep the spirit of Charlie alive. Thank you. Simon, Gill, Tom and Sam Hutton

There are no match fees so please give a donation to the RNLI volunteers who are here today

Raffle for the RNLI Raffle tickets are available on the RNLI stand. You could win a Gryphon Taboo Striker hockey stick donated by the Surrey Hockey Centre, or there are five pairs of tickets to the London Boat Show donated by Towergate Mardon Insurance. With cakes and goodies for sale, with proceeds also going to the RNLI, there are lots of ways to help raise money for this worthy cause. And if you don’t manage to give on the day, Tom & Sam’s fundraising page, for their London Marathon run, can be found at bit.ly/RNLIfundraising
