ACCESSIBILITY There are various services and facilities available on the Isles of Scilly to assist visitors with limited mobility during their holiday on our islands, but it is always a good idea to contact transport providers and your accommodation provider to discuss your particular requirements. Some accommodation on the Isles of Scilly offers accessible rooms and/or ground floor bedrooms. Please contact individual businesses for more detailed information. Individual access statements can be viewed via links on visitislesofscilly.com or on individual accommodation providers’ websites. Please remember that the off-islands (Tresco, St. Martin’s, Bryher and St. Agnes) are only accessible by boat (getting on and off the tripper boats can be tricky with several steps involved, although our boatmen will always assist where

necessary), and have a mixture of concrete roads and unmade tracks. There is no public transport on the off-islands, although your accommodation provider will meet you on your arrival and transfer you to where you are staying. There are golf buggies available to hire on a daily basis (age 25-75 years; driving licence required) on Tresco and St. Mary's. There is also a ‘Buzza Bus’ service on St. Mary’s, however those entitled to use this service must be registered with Cornwall’s Age Concern, and unable to use other accessible private hire vehicles.
