NOW I SEE ME It’s time to put words into action. We are entering a new era of self love. A celebration of female form will highlight inclusitivity as a factor for future business growth. Greater variety of shapes, races, religions and gender identities needs to be given consideration in campaigns and collections. Positivity and action are key factors for the future.
What Is Being Mirrored Within My Consciousness? Everything you see is your own reflection. Your life is a reflection of your thoughts, feelings and actions. It’s about you, how do you want to see yourself and how do you feel about yourself. It’s about your own inner self.
LOVE YOURSELF Aſter seasons of political, empowering and positive messaging within t-shirt graphics, it’s time to put words into action.we are entering a new era of love and, crucially, self love. A celebration of the female form will highlight inclusivity as a factor for future business growth. Retailers should consider a wider audience and include a greater variety of shapes, races, religions and gender identities in their collections and campaigns. Positivity and action are key factors for the future. A focus on social responsibility to do the ‘right’ thing is set to be evr present.
It’s time to putwords into action.Whatever shape, race, religion or gender identity you have, it;s unique in it’s own way. You just need to love yourself. Positivity and action are key factors for the future.
RANGE
The asymmetrical nature of the garment depicts the way you see yourself is different from the way the world sees you. But it’s all about you, your self-improvement and self-enlightenment and that nothing can stop you from all your desires and goals. The others are just the key on your jorney to self realisation.
DIAPHANOUS The reflective and fluid qualities of water are a key reference in this project which injects the excitement into easy-wear pieces. Sheer layers in lavender tones offer a subtler nod to water inspirations. Hi-lo and asymmetric hemlines enhance a sense of movement.
Breaking the stereotypes and entering the realm of light, delicacy and translucency. Reflecting your inner self and innate instincts. The crystaline nature of the fabric catches the light so that it sparkles your inner beauty and gives you the freedom of who you want to be.
ROSE BLEU A romantic thread runs throughout the ground. This story goes one step further by putting plants as the key reference to inspire new shapes. The intricate lines in the motif outstand the silky texture of the fabric, similar to presses flowers, and embroidered flora and applique is seen on pastel bases.
Taking mushroom as my inspiration,I have derived few motifs by keeping in mind the texture, nature and silhouette of the mushrooms.
Samples of embroiderd swatches made before finalising the actual motif to be used. Different colours and techniques were used in different swatches.
Taking inspiration from Mushrooms ,I have tried giving saree a contemporary look and the hand embroidery is done in such a way that it gives it a modern touch. The intricate thread work and the ruffles on the pallu shows the surface and the nature of the mushroom.
NOSTALGIA REVIVED It’s time for some mix and match and roll the floor with fusion. Everyone wants to go back im time, so how about creating such surroundings. Asymmetry becomes user-friendly in this story. Creating a performance-quality finish that is versatile, lightweight and easy to care for.
We all have a longing or wistful affection for our childhood days. Reviving those memories through elements like exaggerated cuffs, puffed sleeves, corset belt, overlapping elements and thus giving it a modern fusion is the key role of the garment.
THE LINEAR CHEMISTRY The classic story takes inspiration from lines to create a carefree look, this story reworks classic pieces to write a new narrative. it’s time to reconstruct the tailored wardrobe.
High summer basic look almost clinical, inspired by the austere lines of Brutalist inner city high rises. Changing the mindset of corsets by making it more comfortable and wearable. It’s all about being carefree and ruling the world in your unique way.
RAABTA The story displays the hide-n-seek of light and shadow, open and closed spaces and the chemistry between the ingredients of the space merged to create a playful rythm.
A jaali reflects itself through light and merges with a plain surface by creating a shadow on it, likewise the panels in the lehenga shows the chemistry between the both.
PETTI AMIE Little things matter a lot in our lives. The innocence of kids and their small imaginary friends is the key reference of the story. By taking the original creations of innocent minds I have made a range of kidswear collection.
FLORESCENCE The psychotropical palette is chracterised by contrast, with kombu green and deep jungle. This is a palette with plenty of opportunity for mixing and matching, particularly for print design, making it ideal for high-summer collections.
AAR PAAR It’s a collection brought to you by 11 neophyte yet enthusiastic designers. A collection which goes beyond the lines and brings out to you a combination of the real and reel world.
The collection comprises of a centuary old fabric wearable for the jeans clad and crop top wearers of today. Khadi is known for it’s simplicity and comfort. Thus we have interpreted it in a way which is differennt from the common by making our silhouettes structured and giving it an asymmetric look. It bridges the gap between conventional and modern aesthetics.
