Welcome! Thanks for stopping by to read my very first issue of SimStar fashion magazine. I’ve been playing the Sims for about 10 years, with my first game being Sims 2. I was immediately sucked into the world, and time would fly by so fast the more I mastered the game. I’ve been wanting to create a Sim fashion magazine since 2013, when I was still playing the Sims 2, but it ended up not coming together. I just had too much going on in the game, that it would eventually crash. I gave up on the project until the Sims 4 came out. About a year has passed since release, and there is a lot of great custom content to add to the game. So now I have finally put aside the time to resume this project. Part of the reason is to continue what I’ve always wanted to do. The other reason is to refresh and enhance my Photoshop and Indesign skills and to become a better a graphic designer. It’s a bit overwhelming because it is just me working on this, but I hope this magazine can continue for a while. Enjoy!

Ingredients:
1 cup white sugar 1/2 cup butter 2 eggs 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 1 3/4 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 cup milk 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x9 inch pan or line a muffin pan with paper liners.

In a medium bowl, cream together the sugar and butter. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
Tip: Aluminum foil can be used to keep food moist, cook it evenly, and make clean-up easier.

Combine flour and baking powder, add to the creamed mixture and mix well. Finally stir in the milk until batter is smooth. Pour or spoon batter into the prepared pan.

Bake for 30 to 40 minutes in the preheated oven. Cake is done when it springs back to the touch.
