Es de las 21 áreas más importantes para las aves en Costa Rica (Bird Life International, 2008).
Tiene una extensión de 2.3 km de sendero parcialmente circular. Es 95% plano y el secundario Un 70% a travésmaduro. de bosque
Sendero Heliconias:
Puma (Puma concolor costaricensis), jaguar (Panthera onca); mono colorado (Ateles geoffroyi), mono congo (Alouatta palliata) y mono cara blanca (Cebus capucinus).
Tiene una extensión de 610 metros lineales y es 100% plano a través de bosque secundario regeneración temprana.
56 especies de anfibios:
imponente árbol de Ceibo de gran altura le da el nombre a este sendero.
Mirador al cono volcánico:
Rana de árbol coronada (Anotheca spinosa), rana arlequín (Atelopus varius), rana calzonuda (Agalychnis callidryas), rana de vidrio (Centrolenidae) y ranas venenosas (Dendrobatidae).
Su extensión es de 12.080 ha.

Boa de bromélia (Ungaliophis panamensis) y bocaracá (Bothriechis schlegelii).
Especies de aves:
Bobo picoquilla (Electron carinatum), pavón (Crax rubra), pájaro sombrilla (Cephalopteros gabricollis) y el pájaro campana (Procnias tricarunculata).

Tiene una extensión de 1.7 km de sendero lineal con acceso a las impresionantes coladas de lava que cayeron en 1992. El sendero es 70% plano pero la colada es de difícil acceso.

Please pick it up and put it in the trash cans or dispose of it out of the park. No es permitido juegos de futbol ni equipos de sonido. Playing soccer and playing loud music is not allowed. No se permite hacer fogatas. Bonfires are not allowed.

It is among the 21 most important areas for birds in Costa Rica (Bird Life International, 2008)
It has a length of 2,3 km (1.42 mi) of partially round trail. It is 95% flat and 70% of it goes through the secondary forest. This trail is named after a mighty Ceibo tree of great height.
Heliconias trail
Puma (Puma concolor costaricensis), jaguar (Panthera onca), spider monkey (Ateles geoffroyi), howler monkey (Alouatta palliata), and the whie-faced monkey (Cebus capucinus).
It has a length of 610 meters and it is completely flat, going through the secondary forest of early regeneration.
Lookout to the volcanic cone:
56 amphibian species
Coronated Treefrog (Anotheca spinosa), Harlequin Frog (Atelopus varius), red-eyed treefrog (Agalychnis callidryas) glass frog (Centrolenidae) y and poisonous frogs (Dendrobatidae).

Panamanian dwarf boa (Ungaliophis panamensis) and eyelash viper (Bothriechis schlegelii).
Bird species:
Keel-billed motmot (Electron carinatum), Great Curassow (Crax rubra) Bare-necked Umbrellabird (Cephalopterus glabricollis) and the Three-wattled Bellbird (Procnias tricarunculata).

It has a length of 1.7 km (1.05 mi) a linear trail with access to the impressive hardened lava streams that came up in 1992. The trail is 70% flat, but the hardened streams are hard to access.
