PROGRAMME TITLE – Office Administration General Participant Profile This course will suit people interested in working in an office/clerical environment. Programme Aim To prepare students to assist in a wide variety of office settings. The role of the student graduate is to support the management of an organization by carrying out three functions: organizing, processing information, and communication. Programme Objectives To prepare students for employment in a variety of entry-level administrative assistant and clerical positions in manufacturing, transportation, telecommunications, entertainment, government, education, banking and numerous professional services. Time management and organizational skills. Organization skills to maintain and respond to electronic and paper communications/records. Appropriate document formats and procedures. Effective communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Business computer applications such as word processing, desktop publishing/graphics, spreadsheets, databases, presentations, groupware, E-mail, and Internet. Training Method
