Constructed: 2008-2010 Surface: 4000sqm gross Budget: 20.000 EUR Client: Bart & Co An existing 3 stories building from the 1924 in the Art Nouveau style will interlock a contemporary bent steel and glass structure elevating the building up to 8 stories. We are redefining the concept of `new luxury` in Belgrade. The arabesque once decoration becomes achieve structural capacities in the new structure. The ornament becomes structural. Facilities, Services, Rooms The 4-star hotel will have a personalized approach to servicing its regular guests who generate core hotel revenue. Revenue will be maximized by opening the hotel to the public for the following services that will complement the main hotel operation: Roof-top - with stunning view overlooking the city. Day and night Nobel Whiskey Bar - at street level with strict admission policy Gastronmic Restaurant with Wine Cellar - leased out to and managed by a leading restaurant brand, with garden acces Health Spa - for hotel guests and annual Spa members Library Lounge and Media center – multifunctional: meeting, lounge, library Conference room – 25 seats There are 39 rooms and 6 apartments ranging from 18-46 sqm, with average room size of 29sqm. They are divided into singles, doubles, Jr Suites ad Suites, and have been designed with flexibility, warmth, wellbeing and soft design factors in mind with personalized concept that allowing each guest possibility to join two Jr Suites to make and Apartment or to join two Suites to make Grand Apartments of up to 79 sqm. The Nobel experience The Nobel is contemporary luxury boutique hotel in the tradition of Schrager, Starck and other prominent figures that have revolutionized the hotel experience over the last decade. As such, the Nobel represents a fresh departure from traditional designs and hotel services and will allow guests and visitors from the outset to experience the unique flavors of the region while indulging in the finest cuisine and spa treatments. Strikingly beautiful and worthy of everyone’s attention, together with its surroundings and impeccable services the Nobel will substantially refine and ennoble the quality of its immediate ambient and tourist offer of Belgrade.

Constructed: 2003 Surface: 160sqm Budget: 200.000 EUR Client: private Upgrading the buildings in Senjak resulted with creating two larger residential area with identical threesiteorientation. When it comes to apartments located in the attic or on top of residential buildings, they incurred as a result of subsequent interventions, ie. upgrade of the original building, freedom of interpretation of the current or inherited situation, as well as access to the shaping of architectural extensions into new space, always in a process with uncertain outcome. So far, this has been the practice in Serbia. Upgrades are usually associated with "necessary evil" people are looking for additional housing, as well as ones littlebit more oriented towards or illegal construction and acquisition of capital on the sale of such flats. Aesthetic result is often devastating as witnessed by the city silhouette from almost any point. One of them become subject of interior design by Sinestezia doo.

BELGRADE SERBIA Constructed: 2003 Surface: 80sqm Budget: 100.000 EUR Client: Danila Crnugelj Townhouse AN4 is one of the 2 apartments of the extended part of the building in Belgrade. Apartment is designed as open space, with detached rooms, with the doors only on the restrooms. The main entrance is positioned to reach the heart of the apartment, where all convergent axis meet. Lower level is dominated by huge living area with views spreading to surrounding greenery. Upper level is house „den“ where one can isolate to work, read, meditate or enjoy home steam sauna or amazing view over the terrace. Townhouse is giving attention to clear traces and axes, „V“ shaped columns, steel console staircase and designed pieces of light and finishes.

RENOVATION LONDON, UK

Constructed: 2008-2009 Surface: 300sqm Budget: 900.000 EUR Client: Svetlana Kirillova Townhouse is situated in the Wimpole St in the very center of London, just few minutes by walk from the Oxford St, busiest shopping street. Unlike the very dense Oxford Street, the Wimpole Street is quiet and noble area well known for its well settled doctors. Townhouse is one residential space composed by 6 apartments trough 2 buildings, 23 and 24 Wimpole St. We designed central torus as main spiral skeleton that links different spaces. We found inspiration in project of tower done by Melnikov, which is one of the most prominent architects of russian avanguard time at the beginning of 20th century. We treated central „tower“ as outside spine that is starting as mezzanine, convert to helical staircase, transform to lounge bench and at the end becomes curved wall. Introdusing central torus, we keep max diversity of each space as clear intimate environment. Townhouse is place where mix of inside-outside happens. Interiors of each room: living, saloon, childern, master, nanny, kitchen, cinema, spa, bathrooms, are designed as self-contained world with it’s own character.

Constructed: 2004 Surface: 140sqm Budget: 100.000 EUR Client: russian family Here classical division hallway room needed to be interrupted. We created an active performative volume- we call it kokpit. Other elements are sliding, pivoting- no ‘normal’ doors. KOKPIT become a main sculptural element of the place. We did different frames, each follow different function in the kokpit’ s inside. We specially designed for this project structural panels looking at the airplane industry of the 50ies where the conplez structure was wrapped with canvas and painted. Natural materials and soft lighting are here the standard. In the design of the loft, various zones are generated - public / private / office and guest areas/wet zones. These zones wrap around a 'core' located in the middle zone of the loft. The core is registering movement and actions inside of it. In the past the space hosted 7 families. It was also called a “Russian Komunalka” of Stallin times.

Constructed: 2009 Surface: 780sqm Budget: 800.000 EUR Client: private PERSONALIZED. This architectural concept MAXIMIZE SPACE, LIGHT and VIEW. It brings light and air into the interior and blurs the distiction between inside and outside. The house bacems roomless space an it’s based on the continuity of spaces and of the circulation of organisational system. Integrated into landscape and open to the city below. The most important part of all of these proposals is glass section in the middle of the house that now represents direct communication and cohesion between two parts of housedaily and night zone and has big meaning and role in new house. Various orientation and views of central part of the house- “winter garden” now has better seasonal recuperation of light. Direct and indirect connections to nature transformed house. Glass pannel walls completly open the house, the house becames a plathorm defined by abstract roof plane, a palette of naturalmaterials, hillside, garden and the view. *This house, at the same time confronts strong mountains and rises above the Geneva Lake and sinks into the landscape and surroundings. *This house respect tree principals of space linking: Envelope Terrestrial progression Space delimitation The site (ground, slope, vegetation, sight) and the desired uses condition the envelopes and there assembling. *To 3dimension layers we added a fourth dimension and what is most important we enable moving around house. The platform that surrunds the house is made so it connects all points of house extirior and when it’s made green it unite the house perfectly whit landscape.

INDUSTRIAL LIVING CARSKA JABUKA SERBIA Constructed: 2006 Surface: 100sqm Budget: 20.000 EUR Client: carska jabuka d.o.o Serbian apples for "Imperial Russia" - on the farm Belo Blato, near Zrenjanin, apples grown in the ecological enviroment. /ecological apples are grown. In the fully-protected zone of the village Belo Blato is a plantation and seat of the company "Imperial apple" which deals with the raising of apples, but those completely healthy with a quality stamp. Last year's fruit overall is exported directly to Russia. Architecture studio Sinestezia had difficult task to, in a specific environment of this natural reserve, surrounded by water, reed, threes and birds, design functional objects, necessary for these firms, which can fit in this ambience. We have renovated industrial building, and with specific ideas we tried in some way to refresh the existing building. WATCHING TOWER CARSKA JABUKA SERBIA Constructed: 2006 Surface: 50sqm Budget: 10.000 EUR Client: carska jabuka d.o.o Watching tower on legs is situated on the edge of a lake overlooking large apple fields. It is a two story structure with strong cantelevered terasse, built on four points with crossing wooden beams. We designed pile dwelling, which represents type of house taken from the old Slavs. The uninformed visitor has the impression of "Watchtower even in heaven or on earth." At the top of the pile dwelling place we have designed a place to guard, which is used for observation of the wider environment, especially apple orchards, day and night. It has two floors and fits in the rural atmosphere . Although the pile dwelling designed to guardian of apple orchard not exclude other possibilities such as the observation of birds, lake and nature because it is a beautiful place to the north side of the pond embankment protection Ecka, the eastern embankment protection against "Imperial Bari, and the west and south by a line that provides edge off apple orchard.

BELGRADE/ SERBIA Constructed: 2005-2007 Surface: 800sqm + 2000sqm Budget: 3.500.000 EUR Client: Knin Komerc d.o.o A proposed canopy is constructed as branching structure in the 1st phase, it will follow a hotel addition with 15 rooms and a restaurant renovation. We have been using all elements of the environment and the existing environment and transmited them to the modern language of architecture, not a copy, but by analogy through space and function of future ambijents. This solution is presented in the form of metal structures which are like branches, with total length of the main facade, referring protected oak tree in front of the Palace of Prince Milos. Well-known images from the environment Topcider hilltrees, branches, buds are translated in interwoven lines, the ramifications, crossing the horizontal directions in which the vertical relying again for themselves and branches intertwined, have become the trademark of a new project. Light, pronounced shadow, nature, man and history, experienced through movement and kept in place. Minimum number of vertical supports gives clear view of the existing facility, and also the maximum square of tables in the restaurant garden. Over on metal structures - porch serves as protection from sun, wind and rain, and at night is thought brightness metal elements within and through indirect lighting give a special effect, making both decorativeness and functionality.

It is a simple and clean space were we made light box saging goind back to natural, and iconic imagery: vegetation, man, nature. Reflexions, lighting and sounds are here very sinaesthetic.

CASINO CANOPY BELGRADE SERBIA Constructed: 2004-2007 Surface: 1500sqm Budget: approx 800.000 EUR Client: Fun Casino d.o.o Design Phase was worked out in coordination with the center for monument preservation of Belgrade, Serbia. An extension of main pedestrian street Knez Mihajlova toward the block interior was a challenge. Lines of pedestrian movement become furniture. Taking spectacle issue and casino concepts we achieve a performative structure in never ending movement. All structures can be mounted and desmantled very easily so they can adapt diverse seasons.

Located at the entrance of the city, the location of this project is by itself ambiguous. We created a project that is like a door, you can see through, so there is a gap were light and air go through, There we located circulation with elevator and stairs. The spinal column also all the sevices there. We wanted all the apartments with sea view and terrace so we did it!

GAS STATION AVIA STANDARD MONTENEGRO Constructed: 2004 Surface: 100sqm Budget: 10.000 EUR Client: SINESTEZIA d.o.o We sreated here AVIA- alphabet (after doing all the new visual identity of the company AVIA in Serbia- bottle, stickers, catalogues, posters, billboards) that we use for architecture. It was an intriguing process going from logo to architecture. Consistency was main idea, sticking to the driving AVIA lines wrap the entire building from a large to a very detail of the interior space. CONCEPT: AVIA wave is leaking oil form imbedded in every AVIA product.

RE-HOUSING ATHINA ATHINA GREECE Construction date: Competition Entry Surface: 440 sqm-plot 32 + 5000 sqm Budget: low-medium Client: OLIAROS This project examines contemporary architecture in Greece in the context of the urban, social and cultural changes being driven by globalization and rapid economic development. We like the idea to think that the present situation is a physical city and that we are building in a new social city. The building is made up of connected structures and includes 18 apartments, plus kitchenette, lounge, welcome, billiard space, barbeque space. The virus spikes create the space in-between the public and private areas of the housing complex and the neighborhood network. It is the semi-private space, the step between the street and the room. They include all movements, stairs, and elevators, shared spaces as sitting areas, dining and kitchen. They are trying to reach the skin of the building and bring light in. They penetrate the rooms and end up to cantilever balconies, another semi-public space of the rooms. Also these spikes can create a separate space in the room, more public one...maybe one that can open and close in times of the day or the month...becoming party space, exhibition space. This project expands the conventional focus on â&#x20AC;&#x153;housingâ&#x20AC;? as a general economic or social condition to include examination of the individual dwellings for younger and its spatial contexts. Moving beyond the large scale, this project tries to demonstrate how importance of contemporary Greek culture attaches to the activities and environments of everyday life.

HEALTH FARM HERCEG NOVI MONTENEGRO Construction date: Competition Entry 2006-08 Surface: 2500 sqm Budget: 4.000.000 EUR Client: Family Obradovic Design development Phase, Discussion with Urban Planning Department of Herceg Novi and Permits was handled by Sinestezia. We used to camouflage concept as a driving force in this project. The landspace is a tool that we work with. Topography rules the type and shape of houses.. New topology arises using materials of the site. New ethno is born!!! We created 8 larger houses with central spa building with restaurant, terrace and public swimming pool. These houses could work as 4 separates apartments each of two villaâ&#x20AC;?s depending on demands. The material pallete we created for this project is available for every client.

MIX USE MOUNTAIN HERCEG NOVI MONTENEGRO Construction date: Competition Entry Surface: 120000 sqm Budget: 100.000.000 EUR Client: ATLAS GROUP NEW SUSTAINABLE IDENTITY A proposal for a unique holiday resort on the Montenegrin coast. The intention of the project is to provide a green experience while creating a comfortable resort with many amenities. The site is virtually car-free and the buildings are constructed with modern sustainable techniques. Two distinct parts are connected with a bridge that serves as entrance, symbol of identity as well as a unique experience. Mimoza Garden is very green and almost hidden in the slope. Mimoza Ridge sits like a rock formation on the ridge. A rich nightlife can be found on the coast next to a Marina.

BOSNA AND HERCEGOVINA Construction date: Competition Entry 2006 Surface: 65.000 sqm Budget: 150.000.000 EUR Client: Authorities of the City Banja Luka A large project initiated by city of Banja Luka City. Kastel should serve as a generator of the entire region. This 60.000 m2 space had to be programmed and we did proposals inside and in the surroundings of the Kastel. We created orientations and directions to follow the redevelopment the Kastel of Banja Luka, in the years to come. Inside we respected the existing and created “event architecture” (three podium, wood pods, mobile auditorium...). We created a bridge connection to new buildings like a Concert Hall, Mediatheque and skating terrain. We did an extensive study of the Kastel formulated in the Book “Kako, ko, kul Kastel”.

HERCEG NOVI MONTENEGRO Construction date: Competition Entry 2006 Surface: 1.200 sqm Budget: 1.200.000 EUR Client: Authorities of Herceg Novi This competition was asking to design a parking and a Herceg Novi plaza- a place of assembly in the very centre of the town. We proposed a structure that is catching views. Every change of position will be discovering new points of view in a special way thanks to slightly sloped floors. We gave special care to landscape and vegetationwith special significance in difference between winter and summer plants.

MIX USE BLOCK BLOCK SERBIA Construction date: Competition Entry 2005 Surface: 20.000 sqm Budget: 16.000.000 EUR Client: Belgrade Local Authorities What is evolutionary approach to architecture and buildings: 1. processing new topography on the public ground 2. changing the resolution of the existing landscape 3. observing density through a growing system Every year a business plan is recalculated looking at social and economical factors that will decide on how much and what proportion should be built. We create tower blocks of 8 stories and 5 residential houses that interlock the tower and link with the landscape.

SOCIAL HOUSING KRALJEVO SERBIA Construction date: Competition Entry 2005 Surface: 4.000 sqm Budget: low-medium Client: UN HABITAT The ambition for the site was to meet the demands of the contemporary urban dweller through the creation of a new urban prototype, that for us is a fusion of courtyard and patio housing typologies. Three of these blocks are organized to allow permeability through the site and ground level access to all dwellings. Within each block a series of scaled spaces are created maximazing intimacy without disassociating itslf from its context.

INSTALATION BELGRADE SERBIA Construction date: Competition Entry 2006 Surface: 40 sqm + 300.000 sqm of parl Budget: 25.000 EUR Client: Cultural Heritage Preservation Institution of Belgrade 3rd prize Kalemegdan is Belgrade fortress dating from Roman time. The city population was concentrated within the walls of the fortress, thus the history of the fortress, until most recent history equals the history of Belgrade itself. This proposal is a horizontal landscaped topography with historical signifiers and triggers for Belgrade. The installation itself is ease to built. Could be made out of triangulated mesh, each connecting to the other through a connecting ribs. It could be also any material but we suggested metal to reflect the sky.

INTELLIGENT RE-BUILDING BELGRADE SERBIA Construction date: exp 2006-2008 Surface: 40.000 sqm Budget: approx 2.000.000 EUR Client: ETB Holding LTD An already won competition 10 years ago needed rethinking. SINESTEZIA made proposal adapt the winning project, the conceptual for walls and to give programming options for the Tower. We thaught as a communication tool and ceiling to become an interesting and massive display space. The idea of bringing serbian personalities was here part of architecture. Concept of rethinking is based of key elements of the project: Water tower, Vertical garden, Intelractive Tower. Proposal for additional elemets on existing facade: wall animation, camouflage of neighbourhoods walls, added logia/terrace on each apartment, opened corners.

How architecture responds to new technology and how technology can help creating economical solutions? We are criticizing Intelligent Houses that keep traditional layouts not allowing development of this intelligence. Therefore intelligent houses, become more and more expensive and economically resonable enough. `Motherboard` a complex MAZE like structure simply becomes apartment, room and wall. `An intelligent Path` with 6 additional activities. Intelligent Path is going through the building with 6 activity â&#x20AC;&#x2DC; bubble`s â&#x20AC;&#x2122;: 1. Conference Room, 2. Gym and spa, 3. bar and Billiard, 4. Laundry and Dry Cleaning, 5. Thanks to its strited texture STRATO table is very light and flexible.

Stratto 02 is the continuation of strato 01. Both are made with three different First white is a â&#x20AC;&#x153;writers tableâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;. It takes A4 paper as a base container available always, A4 becomes integral part of the strato 02. Second, black, is a connector piece for exotic coctails but also comfortable for low sitting. Third piece has wine compartiments custom and wine made for bottles and people who love wine.

Strato table is probably the most strato of all strato family. We wanted to overlap different wood pieces found in the wood shop. We overlapped the wood planes shifting slightly the sides. Central part is elegantly diged in order to create small storage space with a flap.

We looked as this project at fashion industry and knitting- so there are some elements of a shirt: *two sides *buttons Strato shelf is an intelligent corner parasite. It is a shelf but also a closet to hide things like air conditioners, garbage, books.

ENTRY HALL BELGRADE SERBIA Designed: 2006 Budget: up to 20.000 EUR Client: UN agency for reconstruction After looking at all sorts of books and statictical diagrams, we realized that we found at the Institute for statistics.it is a lot about statistical curves. Clients program was very detailed and it consisted doing furniture kit book with precise guidelines for construction. Shelves, seating, tables, computer displays and advertising support such as posters, billboards. By creating a â&#x20AC;&#x153;Functional curveâ&#x20AC;? to house books, seatings we resolved and answered all questions.

Designed: 2002 Budget: 10.000 EUR Client: WESTOL The company wanted to introduce an achievly new product, accentuating the existing horse logo. The galloping horse performance was main element to achieve an extremely masculine line. We designed a 4l and 1l bottle. We made ourself responsable for an overall organization including production and advertising which was an enormous job. We basicaly became a Manufactoror, an AD Agency and a PR office.

LINALOOL 1L BOTTLE, WORLD Designed: 2005 Budget: 10.000 EUR Client: AVIA SINESTEZIA started with sticker design, poster and billboard design. Then developed a full range of AVIA products for branding petrol stations. Developped a bomerang like flowing oil logo that is a base for future products. Avia bottle is a representation of flowing oil freezed on the bottleâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s surface. This product is sold in the entire Serbia, Montenegro as well as Germany & Switzerland.

ADVERTISING & FURNITURE WORLD Designed: 2005 Budget: 50.000 EUR Client: AVIA SINESTEZIA started with sticker design, poster and billboard design. Then developed a full range of AVIA products for branding petrol stations. Developped a bomerang like flowing oil logo that is a base for future products. Several very diverse products were realized and still ongoing.

Produced: 2006 Budget: 4.000 EUR Client: Kondiva Working with large Serbian Furniture corporation was a very special experience by itself. SIMPO along furniture produces chocolate and own KUCA STIL magazine We designed two most luxury series of coffee and chocolate together. The client wanted to introduce a luxury brand to their existing praline portfolio. They also wanted sustainability involved. After a long research we proposed a new brand that we simply named: chocolate, and under serie called: â&#x20AC;&#x153;coffee breakâ&#x20AC;? that is planned as a 1st family.

CARSKA JABUKA VISUAL IDENTITY

Designed and produced: 2006 Budget: 6.000 EUR branding package Client: Carska Jabuka d.o.o. The capital letters “C” and “J” became main design force creating logo, visit cards, stickers for “Rakija” bottles or wrapping paper. “C”- carska jabuka (from tsar) and “J”- jabuka (apple) How to brand a brand new- young company in Vojvodina that do not want to be another etno village. We create a techno agriculture- a neo chicken are.

Designed: 2006 Surface: 100sqm Budget: 50.000 EUR Client: Simpo d.o.o. The idea was to create structure/ pavillion to present SIMPO products at fairs, salons, that is at the same time flexible for traveling and packaging. We proposed a simple red box with landscape as floor and grid a around- close or semi open. It was a great fun to work for a Serbian Furniture Manufacturer that was very enthousiastic and ready to innovate.
