Old Neighborhoods & Fado This is a five senses tour in which you will have a walking tour in an old neighborhood of your choice and the Fado singer’s availability. From the historical sites of Alfama, Bairro Alto, Mouraria, Madragoa, among others, of tremendous significance for the Fado music. The Fado music, World Heritage, sings the life of the Portuguese people, which you will pass through in every corner. In this amazing experience, you will contact with people that always have and still live in those places and authentically experience Portugal’s past, present, and livelihood throughout the years. Each neighborhood has its own traditions that can be seen in the ways of living of its inhabitants but all of them have a special interest. It’s not easy to choose but it will be an unforgettable experience in each of them. Mouraria, for instance, is the birthplace of Fado Music. Here Severa, the first Fado singer known, lived her poor and sad life in a whorehouse frequented by sailors since it was near the riverside. In Alfama, you can still find some houses in its narrow streets from before Lisbon’s earthquake. Its people are expansive and its authenticity will impress you even now when it is one of the most touristic neighborhoods. Bairro Alto is completely different from the first two, with a geometric map that has been studied to avoid fires and to allow passage to the horse-carriages. Madragoa and the other old neighborhoods also have their particularities and local curiosities that will impress you and will give you a great introduction of the place before you listen to the Fado music. Note: Depending on the location and the group size, the Fado show at the Restaurant may not be private. Days – Daily (depending on the chosen neighborhood) Approximate Duration - 4 hours

Markets Food Tour A private experience that takes you to the heart of Lisbon, where you can see up close the authenticity of our unique people. In this experience, we will stop for several tastings as well as a "petiscos" meal of traditional Portuguese dishes. Days – Tuesday to Saturday Approximate Duration - 8 hours

Bohemian Food Tour In this late afternoon and evening food tour, we will present you to the old and the new bohemian Lisbon. We will start the experience in Bairro Alto which has been, for more than 200 years, the center of the nightlife of the city. It’s the right place to listen to Fado, but also all the other music styles, giving this neighborhood such a great diversity of people and places. It is still the same as when, in the 19th Century, the Fado singers, prostitutes, and journalists shared the same places and streets. This was the only place where the discussions among chancellors, politicians and critics, who were attracted by the journalists and typographers, were possible, outside the law, gathering in taverns and cafés, to debate their revolutionary ideas. During the day, Bairro Alto is like all of the other old Lisbon neighborhoods, with genuine people. After visiting Bairro Alto, we will go down to its neighbor, Chiado, the most glamorous neighborhood of Lisbon, but also the scenery of the Carnation Revolution, which we will tell you all about. More recently, Cais do Sodré got its dynamism and many alternative places were born and continue opening, for the joy of the youngest and the eldest, since there are places for everyone in this neighborhood, close to the river Tejo. We will end the Tour after a total of four tasting stops, in a rooftop bar, where we can leave you to enjoy with your family or friends all night long, and after better understanding these places, as part of our history and culture. Days – Tuesday to Saturday Approximate Duration - 4 hours

Before coming back to Lisbon, we’ll have a surprising visit to Palácio Marquês de Pombal (Marquis of Pombal's Palace) and its wine cellars. The Marquis produced wine in his farm in Oeiras and D. Accompanied by the wonderful landscape of the National Park of Sintra-Cascais and the marvelous views of the Castelo dos Mouros (Moorish Castle) and of the Palácio da Pena (Pena Palace), which is always in your field of vision wherever you go, we will still have time to have a Colares wine tasting, from the Demarcated Region of Colares, and to have a short walking tour by Sintra’s narrow streets, including Volta do Duche to see its Medieval style Palace as well as a tasting of traditional Queijadas and/or Travesseiros de Sintra in the unavoidable pastry shop Piriquita. It is a nature experience which provides the opportunity to discover the Alentejo’s olive groves, olives, and olive oil, exemplifying the natural splendor and gastronomy of the region. Alentejo's Olive Oil is extracted between the months of October and February from traditional varieties of olives – mainly Galega, Cordovil de Serpa, Verdeal or Cobrançosa – grown in the olive groves of the Alentejo Region. The olives are harvested when perfectly ripe to obtain fruity and smooth olive oils, which are processed using mechanical methods. In the months of June and July, and sometimes in August, we can also observe the stripping of the cork oaks, leaving the striking ochre-orange tree trunks bare, illuminating the wood. We will take you to its magical places: fishermen’s villages, beaches of untouched beauty, nature, historical villages, culture, and gastronomy. Starting in Cabo S. Vicente, we will visit its magnificent beaches less known for the touristic circuits, and also have the opportunity to visit the Islamic ruins near the coast and a Museum in which you’ll visit an exhibition that retraces the special relationship between Carrapateira’s inhabitants and the sea. Continuing along Road 268 with its breathtaking landscapes, we pass through some of its idyllic beaches, as it is the case of Odeceixe Beach, towards Cabo Sardão. A Regional lunch is included. If you would like to continue towards the Alentejo Coast, it’s a wonderful option to take on the way to Lisbon, without taking the highway the entire journey. Days – Daily Approximate Duration - 8 hours

Porto Experience Half Day Tasting Tour This unique food tour, guided by an award-winning food blogger, is a walk-through gastronomy and tradition in the city of Porto, with 6 tasting stops, including 18 different tastings. A lot! Visiting Porto, and downtown, in particular, will give you the chance to immerse in the culture, history, and most importantly, in the food. Come and discover the local markets, the specialty grocery stores, the traditional eateries and the people who make it all happen, and the secrets behind the recipes and products you’ll be tasting and observing throughout the tour. At the same time, we’ll help you to understand the city as we take you to the backstreets, but also the main monuments, where we’ll give you insights on architecture, history, and on the life as a Portuense. We will begin this experience with a conventual sweet at a specialized pastry shop. Then, we’ll experience the sights and smells of the city’s main food market, where you’ll witness the people of Porto and their relationship with food in first hand. You’ll soon feel the aromas of the mountain when tasting artisan cheeses with a glass of a small-producer Douro wine at one of the market’s cheese mongers. Later, you’ll delight your taste buds with one of the city’s most coveted specialties, the Francesinha sandwich, sided by French fries, and a refreshing local beer. No visit to Porto would be complete without trying a historic Tasca, where you’ll sample delicious cured ham and cured loin, olives, Broa type of bread, cod cake, and a bowl of refreshing Vinho Verde. Thus, when comes the time for dessert, what is better than trying the country’s most incredible jesuíta (and Limonete)? We’ll finish our journey with a tasting of a Port Wine in an iconic location. Note: This tour may be adapted to include other tastings and stops, and to accommodate dietary restrictions or the options available, according to the day of the week or the size of the group. Days – Daily (except holidays) Approximate Duration - 4 hours

Historic Porto Food Tour This unique food tour offers different experiences in spots like historical cafés, a wine bar, a traditional bakery and a small “tasca”. Five different perspectives of places where locals go. “Petiscar” is a traditional “portuense” way of life, which means, basically, eating small portions of different delicacies. To create this tour, we were inspired by locals who usually go to the places we selected. This tour was designed to offer not only a food experience but also tell the stories of these places and the History of Porto. The first and the last stops are historical cafés that will impress visitors for their huge cultural heritage. The other three stops include different perspectives on food experiences, always keeping in mind the authenticity of local habits. An exclusive immersion into the Porto way of life. Days – Daily Approximate Duration - 4 hours
