The area where this project is located has been included in the local old city recons ture is old and the environment needs to be improved. The project base is located on the west side of Gufeng Community, Guanshan Street, Hongshan District, Wuhan. It was originally a petrochemical liquefied petroleum gas supply point in Gufeng Community. A large area of internal land was constructed as a closed parking lot and could not serve urban residents.

SITE ANALYSIS Around the base are some old communities and old factories, which are cluttered and lack public and cultural facilities. Due to the narrow streets and lanes in the old district, the public activity space in the entire area is particularly insufficient. In order to improve the environmental quality of the area, it is planned to transform the original blast air supply point and its parking lot into a multi-functional community library to generate regional vitality. ▶ According to previous investigations, it is found that the main population of the project area is the elderly, children and adolescents, and young people account for only 1/5 of the total population. At the same time, the region also has a relatively stable 10% floating population, mainly tourists. rough further investigation of the crowd activities around the area, you can get the crowd analysis chart shown below. It can be clearly seen from the figure that there are fewer outdoor leisure activities and recreational activities for surrounding residents, and tourists’ visits account for the majority of outdoor activities. ere is a serious lack of public space in the area and improvement is needed.▼

e “Community Library” created the roof space as an urban garden, making up for the lack of regional social space; and by retreating the platform and the gray space, it broke the original closed feeling of the narrow alleyway and brought more openness to the surrounding residents Vision enjoyment. At the same time, in order to allow the new library to more gently intervene in the surrounding communities, the designer used a lot of transparent glass on the facade of the building to reduce the volume of the building and create a light and comfortable atmosphere.

3 UNDER THE DOME Paris Urban Space Construction Year 3 Project with Distinction

Three Levels of the Design First, the large-scale green space will be used to enrich the city's greening landscape, and the natural extension of the walkway design will connect the city block with the riverside, so that urban public spaces and outdoor activities can be integrated organically. Secondly, the design is based on Yang Gaier's concept of “walking from person to person. Many landscape nodes and sink squares are set along the landscape belt, which increases the possibility of people's interaction and activities. Third, the design, through the placement of three functional landscape structures, assumed the corresponding urban service functions and met the new development needs of the city.

SITE ANALYSIS The design is the transformation and improvement of the Notre Dame Square and its riverfront space. The base is located in the center of Paris and on the corner of Seine Citi Island. Its surrounding medical, retail, and entertainment infrastructure is well-equipped, with complete functions, smooth traffic, and can be reached by subway and buses.
