True Digital Machining - Powered by Siemens The Touch 2100 is based on the Siemens 840D with many additional features exclusive to Fryer. The heart of the Touch 2100 is the compact Digital Control System (DCS), which combines the spindle drive, axis drives and control CPU. This results in significantly higher performance than traditional analogue systems used on most other machines, and providing more accurate circular interpolation and much faster high speed machining. In addition, it utilises a regenerative drive system which reduces electrical consumption. Future Upgrades Fryer recognise that as businesses grow their machining requirements also evolve. The control features you need today may vastly differ from your needs of the future. The Touch 2100 provides a unique modular concept that allows you to easily upgrade and reconfigure your control to suit tomorrow’s needs.
