QUALITY CONTROL AT SIP SCOOTERSHOP Nothing annoys us and our customers more than poor quality, lack of fit or disappointing material. Since a high quality standard does not fall from the sky we do quite some effort for our own productions, already in the construction but also when the ready goods arrive at us in the warehouse.

WE CHECK IN SEVERAL STAGES: a) at the manufacturer b) at our incoming goods department c) in our technical department. For high-precision measurements, we rely on external partners.

In this case, the technical department has dry-built all neighboring parts in a SIP engine case and checked the fits and the function e.g. the kickstart shaft, the clutch cover, the shift shaft, etc. Among other things, we

measure the shaft spacing, the location and size of the lockring grooves, measure the flatness of the sealing surfaces, etc. All threads are tested and partially tested.

The highlight of the test procedure is the measurement of the complete case on a 3D measuring machine with a digital test protocol and / or built up and continuous operation of complete engines.

All testes casings from the „Goods Receipt“ and „Technical“ examinations receive the „SIP Quality Control“ stickers, and we retain individual samples in our archive.

After the introduction of a QM system according to DIN EN ISO 9001 SIP Scootershop GmbH has been verified since May 27th, 2014 by GTÜ GmbH as developer and manufacturer of replacement parts and accessories for motorcycles according to the specifications of the Federal Office for Motor Traffic (German KBA). As a license holder at the KBA we are able to offer products with ABE and parts which are road-legal in German.

We find that also applies to us within the SIP family, among all SIP employees, in dealing with you as a customer or supplier. Since saying „sorry“ is very difficult, we liked the idea of a Spanish director to make this in a movie on the subject. We have participated in this film in its crowdfunding and wish the team and director Juan Manuel Cotelo success in distribution. The previous films by Juan were already very good. „The greatest gift“ will certainly be great too. THE GREATEST GIFT will be screened in cinemas from autumn 2019 in Germany and Switzerland. Or bring it to cinemas in your own town!
