NATURAL LIGHT SHADING DEVICE Natural light has a lot of benefits to the space but also have some disadvanges espescially in Thailand where the temperature is very high. So the shading device is commondly use to reduce heat gain and the brightness to create an appropriate atmosphere for the users

The design aim to create a win-win situation between human and nature Faculty of architecture course and to solves the current coastal Gulf of Thailand ersosion problems. Acedemic project 2016
PROBLEM Coastal erosion on the Gulf of Thailand and the Andaman is one of the problems that resulted in the loss of property of citizens and the government, also impact on tourism industry and causes damage to the coastal resources. The rate of coastal erosion average of more than 5.0 meters per year.
CAUSE OF THE COASTAL EROSION
- Building an economic development or heavy infrastrucure may result in changes to the geological conditions of the coastal resources and ecosystems in the area. - Invading mangroves can cause the loss of resources that can prevent wind and sea wave and also the roots of the mangrove trees can help trap silt, mud, dust to settle and also helps soil hold together makes it difficult to break.

Shade is a shelter design emerge from the idea of lighting and people’s activities accoding to time of the day. Hence, by using light and shading density its define people activities differently though different area of shading and floor slope.
Hours of day create difference lighting efftect depend on multiple parameters such as the angle of light, thickness of the ceiling, the size of the opening.

the design aim to create a public space that encourage people’s activities that is rarely occured because of some limited condition such as accessibilitiy time location or pricing by using hussey maxam teloscopic advantages in the design
8 wall-attatched hussey maxam telescopic seatings are fixed to create a big enclosed space while 6 portable hussey maxam telesopic seatings can be moved to divide the big space into a size that fits the activities

Portable hussey maxam telesopic seatings can be moved can act like a wall to create circulation routine or enclosed space to give audiences various sizes of space depends on the activities they are using
Sport such as small group activities like batminton muzzle volleyball or big group activities like footsul or basketball can be shown and seperated with a guideline of LED light that embeded between the floor whic can be turn on and off to be suited to each sport playing
One of the advantage of hussey maxam telesopic seating is it can be closed into a pocket for maximiazing the space
When seating are closed in the pocket. Seatings can be an interactive display to show the curently score or can be use to provide information about the next game or the next exhibition

GENERAL OVERVIEW Located along Vietnam’s South Central Coastline, Hon Thi islands are an untouched natural paradise. Nestled within Nha Phu Bay, the site boasts outstanding natural beauty, from stretches of golden sand beaches and crystal clear waters to rugged limestone formations and dense tropical landscapes. The 247 hectare site welcomes sunrise views across Nha Phu Bay, uninterrupted views south to Bien Dong and sunset views looking towards the Vietnamese/Laotian boarder. This unprecedented natural beauty is complemented by the biodiversity found around Hon Thi, wildlife roams the hills whilst exotic fish are found in the islands very own coral reef. This unique and broad biodiversity should be celebrated and preserved, becoming a landmark for wildlife conservation within the region.

LONG-STANDING FISHING COMMUNITIES
Hon Thi is a great island with rich historical value, in particular with it’s connection to the local fishing communities and their way of life. Hon Thi provided shelter and shade for locals and this courtesy is repaid with kind attention on environmental protection. The bond between Hon Thi and the local communities is far beyond the word ‘strong’, they are bound by heart, sentiment and feelings.
An existing hermitage was built on Hon Thi by local fisherman more than 100 years ago, in the honour of the God of the Sea or so the legend goes... The Sea God rewarded the local fishermen’s loyalty and prayers with the gift of a magical net to acquire all the treasures of the sea. This net allowed all of the surrounding fishing communities to flourish and share in the new found abundance. The fishing net represents the strong bond between the island and the people since it was the fishermen’s hand & heart for an age. It is from this connection the we find the concept for the Hon Thi Eco Islands Master Plan.
Organic forms and lines that are found the geometry of the nets are expressed in the Master Plan using Architecture and landscape to vocalize the concept. The nets also allow for all of the components of the Master Plan to intertwine and connect with one another, a direct response to the symbolism of the connection between Hon Thi and the surrounding communities.
