Log In will take you to Course Overview Page


Finding the Homework


Click on subjects


Choose English then, KS3 or KS4


ALL homework is beneath the Language and Literature buttons.


Choose the year you want and click on the title, not a teacher’s name.


Follow exactly the same route as the teacher to get to the homework.

Student View To complete and submit.


Students will only see the homework for the specific term.



Click on Homework to view. They can copy and paste onto word or alternative‌

‌or download and save onto their computer.


Once they have completed the homework they need to upload . Click on the homework upload link to do this.




Add or drag and drop) file


Choose file


Choose file and open as you would when attaching a document to email.


Click, ‘Upload this file’


File will appear here. Then, ‘Save changes’.



Click , ‘Continue’.


Assignment submitted.


Teacher View -Marking the Homework


Unlike students, teachers will see all of the homework tasks for the year. You will need to scroll down to find the task you want to check/mark; they are organised by terms.


Click on upload option for the homework you want.


Click, ‘view/ grade all submissions.


Choose your class code on drop down menu.


On the markbook, in the‘status’ column you will see all the students who have (n’t) submitted for grading.

Go to edit then the green button to Grade


You will see the document in the, ‘File submissions column, click to download it and view/mark.


Some assignments have a simple feedback box with an upload option if you want to give further comments‌


Once you have read the student’s work, give feedback in the, ‘Feedback comments’ box.


Marking offline


Highlight where you would like to add a comment.


Click on, ‘review’.


Click on, ‘new comment’


In the blue box add your comment


Repeat until completed.


Some have rubric attached to exam criteria (KS4) and AFs (KS3). The same applies if you want to upload further comments‌


If there is a matrix attached; highlight the column that best fits the students work; it will highlight in green when you select it.


Student’s receiving feedback

In the bottom corner of the student view of homework there is a box labelled, ‘Administration’, underneath there is a link to grades; they need to click on this in order to view your comments.
