Sistema fusio-technik FIRES
With regard pipes and fittings made of polymer material being used in the fire safety sector, Aquatechnik group s.p.a. has created the FIRES fusio-technik range. These products are made of PP-R 80 Super (random polypropylene copolymer), fortified with special additives that improve the resistance and reaction of the flame to the material, without compromising the mechanical resistance and long-term resistance characteristics.
Aquatechnik Group s.p.a., relativamente al uso de tuberías y de racores de material polimérico en el sector de la seguridad antiicendio, ha realizado la gama fusio-technik FIRES. Estos productos están realizados en PP-R 80 Super (polipropileno copolímero random) fortificado con aditivos especiales que mejoran la capacidad de resistencia y de reacción a la llama del material, sin comprometer las características de resistencia mecánica y las de resistencia a largo plazo.
The pipes of the FIRES fusio-technik range are made with 3layer Faser technology. Each layer is added with flame retardant systems, with particular mechanical resistance and Linear Thermal Expansion containment characteristics, conferred by the presence of a central layer of reinforced polymeric material with special glass fibres. The FIRES fusio-technik system of pipes and fittings has been designed for automatic sprinkler fire-extinguishing systems and fire hose reel cabinets. The system can be used in the following activities: - classified LH (minor risk) according to European Standard EN 12845; - classified OH (ordinary risk) according to European Standard EN 12845; - classified LH (minor risk) according to American Standard NPFA 13, 13R and 13D; - classified HC-1 according to FM 1635.

Las tuberías de la gama fusio-technik FIRES están realizadas con la tecnología Faser de 3 capas. Cada capa está aditivada con sistemas anti-llama con características de resistencia mecánica y de contención de las Dilataciones Térmicas Lineales, especiales, gracias a la presencia de una capa especial de material polimérico reforzado con fibras de vidrio especiales. El sistemas de tubos y racores fusio-technik FIRES ha sido diseñado para realizar instalaciones automáticas antiincendio con sistema húmedo de rociadores (sprinkler ) y para bocas de incendio equipadas (BIES). El sistema puede usarse en las actividades siguientes: - clasificadas LH (peligro leve) según la norma europea EN 12845; - clasificadas OH (peligro ordinario) según la norma europea EN 12845; - clasificadas LH (peligro leve) según la norma americana NPFA 13, 13R y 13D;
The FIRES fusio-technik system is an innovative solution for sprinkler systems and a valid alternative to traditional metal pipes. The main benefits of this range of products are: - easy installation; - reduced installation times - no internal and external corrosion; - reduced system maintenance - pipes do not need to be painted as they are already red; - lighter in weight; - soundproof; - excellent resistance to impact; - low surface roughness; - high resistance to abrasion.
El sistema fusio-technik FIRES representa una solución innovadora para instalaciones con sistema húmedo de rociadores (sprinkler) y como aternativa válida a las tuberías metálicas tradicionales. Las principales ventajas de esta gama de productos son: - facilidad de instalación; - reducción de los tiempos de instalación; - ausencia de corrosión, ya sea interna como interna; - reducción del mantenimiento de la instalación; - sin pintura en las tuberías ya de color rojo desde fábrica; - reducción de los pesos; - aislamiento acústico; - óptima resistencia al impacto; - baja rugosidad en la superficie; - elevada resistencia a la abrasión.

require the use of adhesives, sealants or seals: this ensures better and longer sealing of the joints. The FIRES fusio-technik range offers pipes, joints, fittings, flanges and accessories, which allow for both overhead and underground systems. The following are available: - seat fittings that allow the main pipe to be modified at any time, even after installation. This allows the system to be adapted according to new requirements, by adding branches or new sprinklers; - transition fittings to connect to existing metal systems.

One of the peculiarities of the polymeric materials is the absence of corrosion. This feature guarantees: - a longer lifespan of the systems than that of those made with metal parts; - since the metal parts of the products do not oxidise, the sprinklers do not clog. This results in a significant reduction in maintenance costs of the systems and a prolonged lifespan of the systems themselves.
Una de las peculiaridades de los materiales poliméricos es la ausencia de corrosión. Esta característica garantiza: - una duración mayor de las instalaciones respecto a las ya realizadas con componentes metálicos; - la ausencia de los productos de oxidación de los metales evita que se obstruyan los sprinkler. De esta forma se obtiene una reducción significativa de los costes de mantenimiento de las instalaciones y prolonga la vida útil de las instalaciones específicas.
Polymeric materials have a density of about 8/10 times less than metal materials. Therefore, the FIRES fusio-technik system pipes allow for a reduction of about 70/80% in weight compared to the corresponding metal pipes. This reduction guarantees: - easier handling during installation; - reduced transport costs; - reduced on site handling costs; - reduced structural works; - reduced consequences of on-site accidents.
Los materiales poliméricos tienen una densidad aproximadamente 8/10 veces inferior a la de los materiales metálicos. Por lo tanto, los tubos del sistema fusio-technik FIRES permiten reducir el peso respecto a los correspondientes tubos metálicos, del 70/80%. Esta reducción garantiza: - facilidad para manejarlos durante la colocación; - reducción de los costes de transporte; - reducción de los costes de desplazamiento en la obra. - reducción de las obras estructurales; - reducción de las consecuencias debidas a accidentes en la obra.
There are many other benefits guaranteed by the FIRES system, compared to traditional systems. Primarily, the considerable difference in thermal conductivity of the polymeric materials compared to metal materials (about 200 times), which allows for a significant reduction in thermal dispersion. Acoustic insulation is another specific feature of polymeric materials. The viscoelastic properties of PP-R also allow for a considerable relaxation over time of the tensions applied to the system. The impact resistance features offered by the FIRES fusio-technik system are noteworthy. The surface properties in terms of reducing the roughness allow for a significant reduction in pressure drops and the formation of deposits along the pipeline. In addition, the high resistance to abrasion of the PP-R pipe surface allows for a long service life of the pipe.
Son numerosas las ventajas que garantiza el sistema FIRES, respecto a otros sistemas tradicionales. Ante todo, la considerable diferencia de conductividad térmica de los materiales poliméricos, respecto a los metálicos (unas 200 veces aproximadamente), permite una considerable reducción de las dispersiones térmicas. El aislamiento acústico es otra de las características específica de los materiales poliméricos. Las propiedades de viscosidad y elasticidad del PP-R, permiten una considerable disminución de las tensiones en la instalación, a lo largo del tiempo. Además son considerables, las características de resistencia al impacto que ofrece el sistema fusio-technik FIRES. Las propiedades superficiales en términos de reducción de la rugosidad, permiten una considerable reducción de las pérdidas de carga y de la deformación de depósitos en todo el conducto. Además la elevada resistencia a la abrasión de la superficie del tubo de PP-R, permite que el conducto pueda durar más tiempo.
The FIRES fusio-technik system shows the following characteristics of resistance and reaction to fire: - CLASSE B, s1, d0 according to EN 13501-1; - CLASSE B1 according to DIN 4102-1.
