How to Wash a Glued-In Hair Weave https://www.sishair.com/ As we know, a well-cared for glued-in weave can be used for one to two months. And, you had better wash your hair regularly before the glue begins to loosen, preventing it from accumulating salt, dirt and mold. Here’s how to wash a glued-in hair weave. 1. Use warm water to wet your hair.   

Apply a quality shampoo. Squeeze the shampoo at various points throughout your hair. Gently massage it into your scalp, hair, and hair pieces.

Note: Never scrub vigorously, rub, or bunch your hair together, for this will tangle the hair weave. 2. Rinse the hair with running water to remove shampoo completely.    

Apply a quality, cream-based deep conditioner to your hair. Squeeze the shampoo at various points throughout your hair. Gently massage it into your scalp, hair, and hair pieces. Do not scrub or cause tangling.

3. Rinse the conditioner completely out of your hair. Use a lint-free towel to pat your hair dry. First, you should dry the wefted part of hair pieces. Then, dry the rest of your hair from the ends up  

Let your hair air-dry if possible. If you must blow dry it, you should use a dryer with a diffuser attachment, but do not place the dryer directly on top of bonded areas.

Tips  

Never comb out tightly curled weave pieces. Comb through wavy hair pieces with a wide-toothed comb or your fingers.


 

Is it recommended to rinse hair with water and condition it after each workout. If you have African-American hair, you should wash your hair every 7 to 14 days, and avoid using conditioners that contain alcohol. Use hazel or other mild astringent to clean your scalp between washings. Always blow dry hair before sleep.
