Sister Regina: Sister Margaret, I invite you to renew your dedication to God and to our way of life in a public renewal of your vows. Sister Margaret: Most loving God, our Father, I thank you for calling me to follow your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, as a Sister of Saint Casimir. Through this consecration, I unite myself in complete surrender of heart and will to the total offering he made of his life in love for you and for the world. In the presence of the blessed Virgin Mary, the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul, Saint Casimir, and all the saints, I, Sister Margaret Zalot, renew to you, my God, the vows of chastity, poverty, and obedience according to the Constitutions of the Congregation of the Sisters of Saint Casimir. Together with my Sisters in community, I promise to live these vows in the spirit of our Foundress, Mother Maria Kaupas, and to dedicate my life to the service of your Church. Father, I humbly ask for the grace to remain faithful to you in all the circumstances of my life. Grant me a firm belief in your presence and an unshakable trust in your Providence and your love. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, may Christ live in me and work through me so that my life may draw others to union with you in love, for your glory and the good of the Church. Sister Regina: Sister Margaret, I receive your renewal of the vows you have made to God in our religious community, the Sisters of Saint Casimir. With joy and love, I commend you to God on this, your jubilee day. May you continue to live your vowed life with the same generosity of spirit and joy with which you once responded to God’s call. Communion Meditation: All Is Gift The colors of a sunrise, a morning surprise, The love that you find in another’s eyes. The hand that helps you up when you’ve fallen down; All is gift, my friend, all is gift from a loving God. The changing of the seasons, life is born anew. Laughter and smiles and birds that sing; The hope that we cling to when the darkness comes; All is gift, my friend, all is gift from a loving God. Memories of a yesterday, tears that flow, Broken dreams, broken hearts we learn to grow. A God who will let us know we’re not alone, we’re not alone. All is gift, my friend, all is gift from a loving God.

Sister Kathy Sherman, CSJ
My heart is full of gratitude to God for the gift of this day, the gift of these past fifty years as a Sister of Saint Casimir, and the gift of all who have touched and shaped my life in so many ways over the years. Some of you are here in St.Rita’s beautiful shrine chapel, some will join me later at Palos Country Club, and many more are joining me through live streaming. You have all been a part of my life, and I am ever so grateful. Thank you to each of you for sharing the joy of my celebration. Special thanks to all who helped make this day possible, especially Sister Elizabeth Ann Yocius, SSC Jubilee planner, Daina Cyvas, SSC Communications Coordinator, and the welcoming staff of St. Rita Shrine Chapel. May the faith of Venerable Servant of God Maria Kaupas and the faith our God has in each of us continue to deepen and inspire us to live our lives for God alone. May you continue celebrating the gift of your own life, for all is gift! With an abundance of love, joy, and peace, Sister Margaret Zalot
