SCHOOL PROJECT– 2019 to 2022 School Projects

- Year 1 (NYP) : Magic at Little India The assignment was to study and observe a ‘villager’in Little India. My villager was a man who runs a minimart cum internet café. I studied his behavior and surroundings and from the study, I developed a house design inspired from his habits and daily life. The project goal was about learning to appreciate context and the user when developing a design. - Year 2 (NYP) : Genius in Nature Project was based on my ‘guru’ which was vampire squid. Researched about its nature and living routine. I came up with water pollutant detector building that let people stop fishing for health risk.

Intern ( William Lau Architects) - M&E, Sanitary planning - FSSD submission - 3D model for newly proposed projects Intern (TWA Architects) - Structural, interior and architectural works - Meet up with clients, suppliers and contractors - Worked with every subdivision in the office

Our proposed chicken coop design was inspired by puzzle blocks and legos that can easily attract kids. Kids who are not afraid of the chickens are able to enter the sandpit area to interact with them upclose. Besides going through the sandpit area, crawling below the chicken run tunnel is also anotherway of entering. For the kids who are afraid, they can observe and feed them from outside as well. Integrating Farmer Nick’s specialisation, the herbs plater by the tunnel run can be used for culinary purposes and it is also beneficial for the chickens as well. The basic shaped stools placed outside can be used as a seating for the kids or the perching area for the chickens. Our coop is ventilated and elevated to solve the high humidity environment.

Year 2 (NYP) : Studio Project Life-saving Fishing Pond

Fleshy spines

Harmless spikes

Different types of formations and postions

Using vampire squid’s trait of flashing lights as the sense danger incoming, i’ve made a fishing pond that flashes red light if the water is polluted. With that, people will stop fishing and wait until the flash goes off.

Year 2 (NYP) : Architectonics Project

Task was to find detailed drawings and sketch it out in our sketchbook, freehand.
