Tuition and fees are based on 2023-2024 rates and an estimated enrollment of 25 credits per year for undergraduate international students and 18 credits per year for graduate international students.
Scholarships and Funding Opportunities
● Geographic Enhancement Opportunity (GEO) Award: All academically eligible new students will receive a special GEO tuition rate. Undergraduate GEO awardees save over $10,000 per year and graduate GEO awardees save over $8,000 per year. (Estimated will vary based on number of credits taken.)
● Meridian Undergraduate Scholarship: Highly competitive; full tuition, fees, room and board. Apply by November 15. Additional application required.
● On-campus Employment: Students can apply for on-campus jobs and work up to 20 hours per week.

English Proficiency Requirements for Admission
SIUE offers an Intensive English Pathway (IEP) program that allows students to study English for one, two or three semesters while beginning their degree coursework. The pathway is an affordable way to improve English skills, meet new friends and learn about American culture. Successful completion fulfills the English requirement without additional standardized tests.
