Library and Information Services provides graduate students with access to scholarly information and archival resources, including access to more than 240 electronic databases. Most of these resources are accessible remotely to meet the research demands of busy graduate students. Public computers and laptops are available, and students may take advantage of printing, scanning and 3D printing services. Research consultations are available regarding effective search strategies to the interlibrary loan service that offers worldwide access to articles, books and more. Visit libguides.siue.edu. All Roads Lead to SIUE Just 25 minutes from St. Louis, the SIUE campus is easy to access from four major interstates: I-55, I-64, I-70 and I-270. By Air: St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL) is just 30 minutes from campus. By Train: An Amtrak station is located in Alton, Ill., 15 minutes from campus. By Bus: Madison County Transit connects the campus to the city of Edwardsville and the surrounding areas, including St. Louis. There is a free shuttle service that operates around the campus and connects students to downtown Edwardsville and nearby off-campus housing (mct.org). The greater metropolitan area is served by the Metrolink (light rail) system and a network of bus services (metrostlouis.org).
Parking Visitors may park in Lot B or metered portions of other lots. All other nonmetered lots are reserved for current students, faculty and staff with a purchased hangtag. Accessible parking is available near all buildings. siue.edu/maps

Life on Campus Even graduate students need to find time for fun. At SIUE, you will find a rich cultural environment with a variety of activities from which to choose. Students benefit from free tickets to SIUE NCAA Division I athletic events, and theater, dance and music performances. As an enrolled SIUE student, you have free access to the Student Fitness Center, and your family members can purchase a membership. The fitness center offers a full array of strength and fitness equipment; a number of recreational courts for basketball, volleyball, racquetball, etc.; an indoor pool and rock climbing wall; and a wellness center. There are nine running and biking trails on campus, and the campus bike share program gives you an easy way to explore the many nature trails available on or adjacent to SIUE’s campus. siue.edu/campus-recreation

On-Campus Housing Options All graduate students who are enrolled full-time at SIUE are eligible to live on campus.
Home to upperclass and graduate students, Evergreen Hall features apartment- and suite-style living in a residence hall environment. Most floor plans include private bedrooms, and the facility houses a multifunction room, meeting rooms, a conference room and a fitness center.
Cougar Village houses upperclass students, graduate students and students with families. Cougar Village is traditional, independent apartment-style living with the community and academic advantages of living on campus. Cougar Village is just a short walk or shuttle ride from classrooms and main campus buildings.
