Creating your SIU NetID The first step to becoming enrolled in the OMBA is to create your SIU NetID. The NetID will allow you to register for this semester’s courses. To create your NetID go to https://netid.siu.edu/ and follow the instructions listed on the website. This password will have to be updated every 120 days.
My Program OMBA Log In
You will receive an email from our Chief Information Officer, Bruce Fisher, by Monday, August 6th with instructions for logging on to the online program. Included in this email will be your User ID and password. This information will give you course access. Unlike the SIU NetID, your password will not expire. However, you may change your password at any time by clicking on my settings, scrolling to the bottom of the page, and entering in a new password.

The Graduate Programs office will handle your class registration each semester. Your class schedule can be viewed on the next page. Once you are registered for classes you will automatically be assigned an internal email address. All emails sent to this address will automatically be forwarded to your preferred email account. If you would like to change this preferred email account you may contact Bruce Fisher.

Billing
The OMBA program cost is $854 per credit hour. During the spring and fall semester you will be enrolled in 8 credit hours. During the summer semester you will be enrolled in a minimum of 3 credit hours and a maximum of 6 credit hours, depending on your class selection. You will be billed accordingly each semester.

Currently we cannot recommend that you use a MacBook. However, if you decide to use your MacBook, we advise you to use Internet Explorer as your web browser.

As an online student, the majority of your materials for your classes will be in digital form. They will either be digital textbooks or PDF documents of articles and cases. All course materials are included in the cost of tuition and are usually distributed one week before classes begin.
