Turtle Hatchling Release
In collaboration with the National Park, Six Senses Con Dao has become the proud custodian of selected clutches of rare, endangered turtle eggs, relocated by the National Park. “Let’s Get Cracking” has since been home to thousands of new hatchlings, where guests participate in the conservation efforts by joining the early morning turtle releases right on the resort’s beach. A proportion of our profits go towards their future preservation.
Visit Earth Lab
To learn about our sustainability efforts towards “plastic free” and support communities & ecosystems, visit Earth Lab. Guests can join a tour to visit the organic gardens, mushroom hut, water treatment plant and any other projects and initiatives we have active at that time. There are different workshops to make soaps and other household items using just about anything imaginable. Check your “Sense of Fun” schedule to find out more.

Cooking Class
Get the family together and try your hand at cooking clay pot fish, a steaming bowl of Pho or even wrapping your own spring rolls. When your culinary creativity has been exhausted, sit down to try the dishes you created as your teacher tells you everything you never knew about Vietnamese cuisine.
Plant-to-Plate Dining at Sense of Gardening The Organic Gardens are some of the many initiatives from Six Senses Con Dao to create an authentic and sustainble experience for our guests and our environment. Develop your green fingers, forage in the gardens before a cooking class– or “Be a Farmer” for a day, get to feed the chickens, and learn traditional Vietnamese harvesting methods across the resort’s 1500m of herbs, vegetables & plants.

Island Escapes & Boat Charters The Con Dao archipelago is comprised of 16 islands with local inlets, a myriad of hidden bays and endless secluded beaches, offers a sublime, magnificent and well-preserved landscape. Nestled inside a protected National Park which includes Vietnam’s first recognized sea Ramsar site, the secluded aquatic park is home to 1,493 documented species of underwater life and the best coral formations in the country. For a truly unique experience, customize a boat trip around Con Dao, stop for island picnics, find your favorite snorkeling spot or chill out on a deserted beach.
Trekking
Con Dao offers endless green and blue vistas and a range of places to trek. Trek towards the water and paddle across Vong Bay. This is an enchanting exclusive experience for those who expect the ultimate in serenity and seclusion as nearly 80% of the island is entirely a National and Marine park which makes it well preserved and protected.
Snorkeling Trips
Snorkeling in Vietnam in the turquoise waters of Con Dao provides a rare glimpse into an unspoiled azure wonderland - in our Ramsar protected area. Including more than 340 kinds of hard and soft coral, our underwater world teems with over 1,400 colorful species of marine life. A speedboat will take you to Hon Tai and Bay Canh or Cau islands to discover the underwater life surrounding Vietnam’s premier marine protected area.

Sunset Getaway Travel by boat to the western side of Con Dao, passing Ca Map Cape (or Shark Cape), Dinh Tinh Yeu (or Lovers Peak), before stopping on the far side of Hon Ba, also known as Grandmother Island. Here, toast to another beautiful end of the day as you’ll witness an overwhelming display of colors when the sun slowly dips over the horizon. Located along the main shoreline of Six Senses Con Dao, our exclusive Hideaway Beach is waiting to be discovered by those looking for the ultimate in privacy. Around a 750m walk, or better by our private boat & picnic charter, you can discover a new sense of beach paradise in this hidden cove, just over the headlands of the Lo Voi Mountain. Choose from a feet-in-the-sand barbecue or a bespoke menu from the kitchen, accompanied by our carefully chosen wine list and inventive cocktails.

Con Dao Local Life Tour
Discover the island and find out what authentic Con Dao daily life is about. Travel across the island from town, to harbor, to temple and beyond with your guide. Savor the slow life on the back roads, enjoy local architecture and beautiful viewpoints. Along the way you'll see Ben Dam Harbor, Nhat Beach, Shark Cape, Van Son Tu Pagoda, the Shrine to Lady Phi Yen and a local market. Your trip will culminate over a traditional Vietnamese coffee in a charming local cafe.
Two Wheels and The Road Nothing says Vietnam more than a bicycle or motorbike. Take your set of wheels and explore the island of Con Dao. Approximately 5 kilometers away you will find the main town, the market, historical sites, beautiful scenery and the friendly locals; take a glimpse at everyday life while riding along the main road. Don’t forget to take with you a cap, sun block, insect repellent, light comfortable clothing, Vietnamese currency and please remember to respect local customs and cover your shoulders and knees when entering religious or historical sites. Should you wish to enhance your interaction with the locals, the team is happy to provide you with a printed list of English-Vietnamese phrases. Con Dao Historical Tour Did you ever hear the story about “Tiger Cages”? This tour explores the rich history of Con Dao while delving deep into its darker side. A series of prison systems were constructed throughout the region’s 113 years of colonization. Over those years, thousands of prisoners were interred here in the infamously known Tiger Cages. Along this tour, you'll explore the Con Dao Museum, Phu Hai Prison – Bagne I, French Tiger Cage, American Tiger Cage and Hang Duong Cemetery - some of Vietnam’s most iconic history.

Feed the Fish Golf
What do you get when you combine Six Senses Con Dao and Golf? Well-fed fish! While we don’t have the space for a full 18 holes, we do have a lot of ocean. Using our EcoBioBalls® you are able to practice your swing and knock a few into the water from the Elephant Mountain Platform. EcoBioBalls® dissolve in 48 hours and the remains serve as fish food. To cause the least disturbance to natural feeding habits we do limit the number of balls played daily at a maximum of 60 balls per day.
Jungle Movie
There’s nothing kids like more than for adults letting them stay up late to watch a movie. And we’ve got the perfect activity for them: movie night at our theater in the jungle. Lead your young ones down an outdoor path and relish their look of excitement when they see loungers, and a giant movie screen among the palm fronds. An evening of amazement they won’t soon forget awaits, complete with popcorn and refreshments, of course.

Grow With Six Senses
Here we have a great selection of exciting activities that will keep youngsters busy in the resort. They can paint statues, make sand castles, explore the beach and jungle, decorate cookies, learn how to make exciting things or what to do with recycled paper or play by the pool - the possibilities are endless. Parents, you can always join in if it looks like we’re having too much fun. Open from 09:00 am to 05:00 pm daily for 4 to 12 years old.
