01. 2 6 / 1 1 R E F O R M A T I O N Studio 6 Its been 10 years since the 26/11 Mumbai attacks but memories of the horrible carnage that killed 180 people and injured over 300, remain fresh. The design tries to express hope and strength by staying united rather than express hate and vengeance. There were six terrorist attack spots which are indicated through the different heights in the plinths. The design plays with plinth modification where the hierarchy of spaces and heights of the plinths are marked by the maximum no. of lives lost in that spot. The heights of the tomb stones vary where the shorter ones are for youngsters and the taller ones indicates the older generations.

02. S K I L L D E V E L O P M E N T A L C E N T R E Studio 4 The design brief requires a skill develpoment centre for people of all age groups from 4 years. It aims at developing the skills of the large population residing in such rural areas. They design takes place in the small village of Anegundi, Karnataka. The project’s main strategy is to communicate and develop knowledge and skills within the local population so that they can make the best possible use of their available resources. Historic building techniques are developed and improvised to make sure that the building blends in with the nature.

03. N E I G H B O U R H O O D C E N T R E Studio 5 The design brief deals with inco-operating different types of functions in one complex. The user groups are invited into the proposed design through an active frontage and temporary installations. The structure is further zoned on the basis of footfalls with the commercial area occupying the ground floor and first floor. The second floor is completely dedicated to four different offices where these spaces are available for small start-up offices as well. The site is further divided by pockets of courtyards which are at different levels thus eliminating the sense of monotony.
