Hi! I'm a student currently pursuing B Arch degree in National Institute of Technology Calicut, one of the premier institutes in India and this portfolio includes selected original works between 2015-2019. As a student with good knowledge in architecture, site planning, concept development aided with drafting and software skills, i am extremely passionate in designing and takes immense pride in whatever work i do, for whichever firm/institute i work for so that i could reach the benchmark set for mysef. Looking forward to work with you so that i can break out from the shell to meet the limit of my potential and push myself harder towards the goal...

01 PROBLEM INTRODUCTION

The problem is to design a 250 bedded trauma care hospital in a site located around 10 km away from the heart of Calicut city. The hospital should have all the facilities like OP departments, imaging facilities, IP wards, IP rooms, operation theatres, ICUs, etc. and provide special attention towards emergency care facilities. 02 PROBLEM INTRODUCTION

The problem was to design the area in front of the main lecture hall complex of NITC. The campus which has 7000+ students has only a couple of gathering spots and sitting spaces. The area around the building which hosts many events involving outsiders is currently a dead space. So the space needs to be efficiently landscaped. ABSTRACT

04 PROBLEM INTRODUCTION

The project was to renovate the lecture hall interior to get a better visual and audio experience. The hall wasn't treated with any kind of acoustical materials other than the rear wall. The seating area was very congested and rakings were inappropriately designed. ABSTRACT

chanakya

The proposal contains structural changes, acoustic design, and interior design. It is found that the reverberation time of the hall was 1.488 s and it gets reduced to 0.350 s according to the proposal. Stage, raking, and doors were structurally changed to provide a better viewing experience and circulation within the space. Most of the interior surface is treated with new acoustical materials MATERIALS
