02 PROBLEM INTRODUCTION
The problem was to design the area in front of the main lecture hall complex of NITC. The campus which has 7000+ students has only a couple of gathering spots and sitting spaces. The area around the building which hosts many events involving outsiders is currently a dead space. So the space needs to be efficiently landscaped. ABSTRACT

The project was to renovate the lecture hall interior to get a better visual and audio experience. The hall wasn't treated with any kind of acoustical materials other than the rear wall. The seating area was very congested and rakings were inappropriately designed. ABSTRACT
chanakya
The proposal contains structural changes, acoustic design, and interior design. It is found that the reverberation time of the hall was 1.488 s and it gets reduced to 0.350 s according to the proposal. Stage, raking, and doors were structurally changed to provide a better viewing experience and circulation within the space. Most of the interior surface is treated with new acoustical materials MATERIALS
