Welcome Back E3 Please join us in welcoming our South Korean E3 friends! For the next four weeks nine students will be joining us in Grades 4-6 to practice English and engage in American culture. We are so grateful for this partnership, and look forward to getting to know, and being known by, our Korean friends. Let’s show our Tiger hospitality to James Park and Eunice Kim and their students. God is at work!

Bridge Fund Update from Mr. Hucks We appreciate the generosity of our community as we move towards meeting our goal for this year’s bridge fund. That goal is $200,000. We are excited that we have reached $90,790.00. We are almost half way there. The Bridge Fund allows us to offer several opportunities to our community. But one of the primary goals is to financially partner with families who desire excellent Christian Education, by providing financial aid. This partnership allows others to experience the life-changing message of the Gospel in an academically strong setting. As I meet more and more of our community, I am amazed at the impact of SJCS. Just this past weekend, I heard from a long-time supporter that a former student said “SJCS had more of an impact on my life than any other school I attended”, including high school and college. To see people, tear up when they tell me this, after many years, underpins the importance and impact that SJCS has had on this world. What does this mean for today? I believe it is a challenge to prayerfully consider giving. The following verses help explain why it is important for believers to give. First, John 3:16, For God so loved the world, that He GAVE… God set the example, of giving of himself to save others. Second, Psalm 24:1, The earth is the Lord's, and all its fullness," writes the psalmist, "the world and those who dwell therein." Whatever we have, has been GIVEN to us from God. And finally, Matthew 10:8 “Freely you have received, freely GIVE" Please consider your participation and pray as we move toward our goal.
