Auction Thank You by Mr. Hucks Another auction has come and gone! The fun Monopoly theme, delicious food, fabulous auction items, and the friendly bidding wars all made for an exciting night for our SJCS community. The planning team did an amazing job of organizing it and pulling everything together. Mark entertained us with his auctioneering and comedic skills. It was awesome to see so many of you come out in support of SJCS. We are truly grateful for everyone who donated services, gifts, and resources for the event. We are inspired by those who also volunteered their time to help out. The auction raised much-needed funds (at this time over $86,000) to improve our technology and facilities which will be used to enhance learning and better equip our students to impact the world for Christ. In supporting SJCS through the auction and other means, you are helping us lay the groundwork in preparing future generations to serve Christ. David Livingston, adventurer and missionary to Africa, understood the value of laying the groundwork. He was criticized by his contemporaries for being more of an explorer than a missionary. Yet, he understood that before the gospel could be taken into the interior of Africa, trade routes would have to be opened and slavery abolished. Livingston also understood that his efforts might not have immediate fruit and that he might not even see the fruit of his labors; however, today, the effects of Livingston’s gospel endeavors are still evident in parts of Africa. Your support of SJCS whether financial or otherwise goes a long way in helping us lay the spiritual and educational groundwork that will have farreaching and long-term effects.
300 Tigers - Word of Mouth Marketing Training - Sweatshirts SJCS will grow to 300 Tigers with your help. Our statistics show that personal referrals are the most effective tool to bring new families to SJCS. With that in mind, we have customized a 30-minute training session to help you tell your story. We would love every parent to participate in the training. Our gift for attending is a beautiful SJCS hoodie. Take the training and walk out fully prepared to share your SJCS story. Tiger Tracks Easter Break Camp in E.C. Available Next Week Extended Care is available to JK - 8th grade the week of Easter Break. Students will enjoy various Easter related activities such as crafts, games, sports, projects, and a special treat in the middle of the week. Please sign your child up with Kim Basl kbasl@sjchristian.org. We do not accept dropins. E.C. is OPEN Mon.-Thurs. 4/15 - 4/18, 4/22 (8a 5p). We are CLOSED on Fri. 4/19 (Good Friday).

For Our Tiger Cubs This is a friendly reminder that Preschool is closed next week for Easter break. Limited care is available 4/15-4/18 and 4/22. Sign-up's have already gone out. Please email Ashley if you no longer need your child's spot, as we can offer it to another family. Summer is around the corner! This year, we will learn about the Great Outdoors! Each week we will explore God's creation through all things outside! Whether it is bugs, the beach, or camping...we will have a blast!
